Australia Grindhouse With DTS-HD MA!

Finally an option for those unwilling to go the German route.

I'm liking the cover. Queer Steel maybe?

Original discs already have TrueHD, so it's already lossless?

Yes, but that's not the whole Grindhouse experience with different cuts and original trailers incuded.

I just hope its not in some low budget cardboard box like Pulp Fiction. Standard amaray with slipcover would be nice.

Here is a pic of what it looks like inside, contents etc. Looks a damn nice set.

So this is the proper Grindhouse experience, with the fake trailers etc?

Ahh sorry, I was under the assumption it was just a repackage of the original discs. If it is the "true grindhouse experiance" then yes, that's awesome!

Is this a JB exclusive packaging?

EzyDVD have this listed, but coming out a month later, and it's an extra $10. Though they don't have any artwork up.

Saw this in store today... It's the same size as 2 DVD cases side by side.

The worrying part is the back cover states DTS HD and not DTS HD MA, even though I've been told that it is infact DTS HD MA I'm still hoping someone can confirm it soon

Good stuff.

I don't suppose there's a scratch free and dirty version? I would think it's just the dirty version, which I prefer...

It's not listed on the back and I don't see it anywhere in the menus, so unless it's a hidden EE somewhere then no, no clean version is included.

Fantastic news, just have to wait now for a regular sized amaray version to become available. I've never been into fancy packaging gimmicks.

I already have have the local releases with True HD as well as and they look and sound great. Won't be double dipping on this set. Machete is a worthy inclusion to the franchise too. That comes with DTS-HD.

Beat me to it with the pictures still undecided about the packaging, I think I would've preferred something the size of the Pulp Fiction briefcase, to be honest. Just makes it difficult to keep with the rest of my collection because of the odd shape, etc.
