Was going to import this to the UK, but I have a sneaky feeling the 3D will be locked. My Oppo is MR for everything but for 3D I use a Panasonic.

As Summit Entertainment are normally region locked.

Amazon has updated their item description to reflect the 3D edition as a 2 disc version(1 3D, 1 2D). This is a great deal at $19.99 considering you get the 3D as a bonus since the 2D only version is currently the same price. I sell off my 3D discs, so I may end up getting the version I want at little or no cost. It was in my GB for $18.99, so even better.

Default A Fun Action Adventure Movie With Great 3D!

A friend and I saw this film in the theater and thoroughly enjoyed it! Granted if you take this film seriously you are in trouble (this is a fantasy with historical characters) which for some people is bizarre. I liked the 3D which is quite good and the story moved quickly. And how about those flying ships?!!! This is a no brainer purchase for me at $19.99 as I continue to build my 3D library!

Does anyone know if it's just a single disc or does it have the 2D Blu-ray version on a separate disc?

Untrue. My toy story 3d no set came with only 3d versions of each film

$20 for a native 3d movie is a blind buy for me too! I just hope to God they change the cover art! What they are showing now has got to be one of the worst all time cover designs I have ever seen!

I didn't see it in theatres but just watched the 3d blu-ray. The 3d is used in a very similar fashion to Resident Evil Afterlife (not at all surprising). That is to say it is extremely good but it does have some gimmicky shoots which given the film works (in my opinion). In fact the same can be said for the entire transfer. Expect your sub(s) to get a nice working out in the final act. The film however will not be for everyone.

[Show spoiler]The action is good (although it could have been a little bit better), and i'm not sure I would call this a kids film or family film. The three musketeers do kill the city's gaurds and nothing ill for some reason is thought of this (it is in fact cheered by bystanders). Outside of this very poorly thought out moment the film otherwise works (it fells as if a scene showing the suffering of the people through such guards and how blind the king was to it was cut when it really should not have been).

Well Resident Evil is a good 3D title, so that's quite promising!

Didn't see this at the theater and wasn't particularly interested in it, but after reading the comments here and seeing the 20 buck price I'm in It's not eligible for Amazon's "super saver" shipping (25.00 min) on its own, but it comes out the same day as Tintin so it gives me an excuse to pick up that one too to get the free shipping

$19.99 at Amazon.com sounds really good for a pre order. The lowest price I've ever seen for a new, theatrically released movie. Great 3D too.
