Got this one and took a chance on being region b also- it isn't.
I see you can buy a region A blu ray player from Amazon.com cheaper than getting your
own hacked to play region A titles.
At least I can purchase region A titles and not worry about watching them.

Just watched this blu today. Wow. What a great movie - I can't believe I'd never watched it before, William Wyler is one of my favorite classic directors.

The transfer seemed pretty good for a licensed title. I couldn't detect any obvious DNR or anything... all in all it looked as though they'd mastered it from the original negative!

Never heard of this film, but looking into it a bit (blu-ray.com review, synopsis, and rottentomatoes) I'm convinced. Sounds like a good risk for $9.50.

Huge bump on this one (6 years later) but grabbed the Indicator version of this and was completely blown away by this movie, fantastic performances by by Terrence Stamp and Samantha Eggar, great story and excellent picture quality and sound, with some great supplements. Indicator is fast becoming my favorite blu-ray label to buy from, just fantastic packages and reasonably priced as well if you import from the UK.

We can read this in the review:

Indeed, the source material for the Blu-ray is in excellent shape (or beautifully restored), with the exception of a missing few frames occurring at app. 1:48:40. This must be a flaw in the original cut negative, because it has been there in every version I know. (If anyone knows of a version without this "jump", please contact me.)

Is the same error present in the Arrow release? I guess so. The DVD edition does not have this error.
