Casino Royale, I had to mention this one as it's just awesome on every level.

TDK, obviously not.... I own it, and I certainly wouldn't consider it a must own.

Casino Roayale???? James Bond playing Texas Hold-em??

I don't see the point in owning films for the sake of owning them. "If you don't like it; then why buy it?" is my philosophy.

The first films that come to mind for me are Psycho(the original of course), The Birds, Halloween(John Carpenter), The Blob with Steve McQueen. I know that Halloween is out, but not sure of the others I've mentioned. Would love to see them though.

I don't own it. And as it has been stated before this is not a thread about owning movies for AQ/PQ.

Chuck Jones' "One Froggy Evening", maybe. But seriously, I'm not trying to think of a film every single person in the entire world likes. That's my point.

That is not possible. In general Citizen Kane is considered to be the greatest movie ever made on most list by most movie critics. That being said you could find millions upon millions who will tell you that it's the either the worst movie or the most boring movie they ever saw.

There will never be one movie that everyone can agree is the best ever, it's not possible.

I don't think this is suppose to be a DEFINITIVE list of must have blu's. I think this is just a thread to see what other people consider to be must have blu's. You guys are taking this way to serious.

Oh and mine are:

No Country for Old men
Kill Bill
Inception
Black Swan
Toy Story 1-3
The Town
The Departed
Casino Royale

These are some that I consider must-haves based on pq and the film itself. Doesn't mean everyone should agree with me, just my opinion.

The Dark Knight is an amazing movie, I believe everyone should have the pleasure of watching it anytime they want

And also a few classic Disney/Pixar movies, which I don't have yet.

I know it's not really a movie but I would say Band of Brothers!

If I had to choose from my collection, I would say 300, Gladiator, Planet of the Apes (the original first movie looks stunning!), and Alien Anthology.

While both are brilliant films in their own right, but may not appeal to every movie fan as they are more of an acquired taste especially BR.
I have to disagree with this one only getting an honorable mention.

If you & I have similar taste in BD's then I recommend Pale Flower. However if you can't get past b&w film & subs then of course this BD is not for you.

Everyone has different opinions on what makes a great movie and that it should be in everyones' collection. I believe the only disc that everyone should own would be a set up/calibration disc. Be it Spears and Munsil or Video Essentials or Disney's WOW.

Totally spot-on. Both films have far too many fundamental story issues that prevent them from being anything more than turn-your-brain-off popcorn flicks.
