I'm assuming that this film is going to be released very soon on blu-ray. They can maybe get people see this film based on the "so soon on home video" factor alone.

I saw this last night and honestly, it's going to bomb badly. It had it's funny moments, but overall, it's awful.

i can't believe crap like this gets made. every time i see the commercial, i want to go to LA and kick that guy square in the balls - he is that annoying. plus what is the diea of having the star in the promo if he doesn't look anything like he does in the movie? if they were going to do that, they could have at least throw someone funny in.

i have a theory on why movies like this get made - so the stars, director and producer can get close to porn stars. it is that simple. if they were on the set of a porno, they would get thrown out(after getting their ass kicked) but this way, they can talk to the stars, hang out a little. seriously, i can't think of any other reason why a movie with a plot this stupid would get made.

This movie looks to be a shining example of why porn stars are frustrated that they can't be taken seriously as actors. Follow me on this...

At least a porn movie is honest about what it is, and usually lives up to its promotions. Whatever plot it has is meant to move from one scene to the next, and it accomplishes that.

So, yeah, most of the porn actors aren't doing great "acting" work in the traditional sense... which means the plot doesn't seem good... BUT if you factor in the acting they are doing in what is really their performance... many of them kinda are good actors if you think about it for a second.

Meanwhile... any actor in porn is told by hollywood that they don't count and aren't good enough to make it in the "real" movie world...

Then hollywood gives us Bucky Larson.

I can guarantee you right now that Bucky Larson will have worse acting than most porn movies you will ever see... AND won't have the redeeming actual porn to make up for it!

Actors in the porn industry will cry when they see a movie like this being made and put in the real movie theaters.

They were passing out free tickets to watch this a year and a half ago. I didnt see it.

OT: I kinda wanna see Jack & Jill (Adam Sandler twin movie), I got a free ticket to see it early this summer but i couldnt go. :P but I guess $3.75 a ticket isn't bad.

NOTE: LINK HAS HUMOR THAT IS NSFW! PROCEED WITH CAUTION!

AVERAGE AUDIENCE FOR BUCKY LARSON SCREENINGS WAS 8 PEOPLE

I think that image above suits this perfectly. I'll catch it at the dollar theater, so that way, only $1 is wasted. Who knows, I might laugh.

Meanwhile, proving that no one listens to Peter Dante, no one went to see Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star, despite all his advice to the contrary. The Happy Madison product opened all the way down at number fifteen, with $1.45 million. That was less than half of Happy Madison’s previous lows, Strange Wilderness and Grandma’s Boy (the latter of which was actually pretty decent, strangely). But it wasn’t ALL bad news, as Bucky Larson is currently tracking 0% on rottentomatoes.

FUN FACT: The average showing of Bucky Larson had slightly more than eight people. You could get more people to a fake funeral.

There were only 5-6 people at the showing I was at (including me).

It's a disgrace, that Hollywood has wasted billions of dollars throughout the years, by making this kind of crap.

This movie must be someone's favorite film somewhere in the world. I wonder who that person is?
