From the ones i've ordered recently but haven't arrived yet:
· The Big Bang Theory: The Complete Fourth Season - Loved every season so far · Blood Simple - The only Coen film that i haven't seen yet · Bored to Death: The Complete Second Season - Loved season 1 · Captain America: The First Avenger - Getting ready for the avengers · Defiance - Actually i don't really want to watch this, not even own it to be honest, but it came in a bundle along with Enemy at the gates (The one that i wanted) cheaper than getting the regular one · Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides - I would have seen it on Cinema, which makes it an instant blind buy since i don't go to cinemas · Sucker Punch - I'm curious to find out myself about this one · Thor -Same as with Captain America · X-Men: First Class - I'm also a completist ![]() |

For those of you thinking of picking up Thor, Captain America and X-men First Class as blind buys, I totally recommend it.
Thor and Cap were the ultimate comicbook movies. Great sfx, action and good old summer fun. On top of that, if you are a Marvel Comics fan, Marvel Studios really stayed faithful to the characters. These are the ultimate build-ups for The Avengers. As for X-men First Class. I'm torn on this one. As a diehard X-men fan (almost 25 years), I was very disappointed (continuity of movies, usage of characters as the first class, etc...) But (checking out my picky X-men fandom out the door)as a comicbook/superhero movie, it was very good. Loved the 1960s concept. McAvoy and Fassbender were outstanding. Just watch the bar scene with Magneto in South America and you will see Fassbender will be a superstar. Sadly, there are some movies I haven't seen this summer since there was so much choice and so little time and money (mostly because of jacked up stupid 3-D prices). That means potential blind buys. On my list: Super 8 Kung Fu Panda 2 Transformers Dark of the Moon |

Transformers: Dark of the Moon
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides I usually don't blind buy, but for these two I'm making an exception. They're the only two movies from the summer that I meant to see but never got a chance to. I know I'll enjoy both. |

You are all brave...very brave.
I had to swear off blind buying. 80% of my blind buy's I had no desire to watch again. I do recommend the blind buying of XMEN FIRST CLASS and Super 8. I loved the stories of both and both should give you really good Audio and PQ. |
