It's a dreamworks film, which is HDDVD exclusive. Spielberg holds more control over his titles though, so he can release them on any format he wants. And of course, he chose Blu for Close Encounters, so people are hoping he does the same for SPR

Gladiator . Life is so hard. The sooner this war is over and Gladiator is getting released on Blu-Ray the better!

Having Saving Private Ryan will be fantastic for blu-ray. I would've figured it would be on blu-ray a long time ago but since Steven Spielberg has his head up his butt we're all gonna have to wait until HD-DVD sales drop dramatically. Other films I want to see on blu-ray: Cabin Fever (coming soon), Starship Troopers (coming soon), American History X, American Pie series, Grandmas Boy, The Exorcist, Menace II Society, Blood In Blood Out

I would also like to see Passion of the Christ on blu-ray. A movie like that would look good on blu-ray

It'd be great if Texas Chainsaw Massacre could be released on Blu-Ray, both the remake and the 1970s original film. Both versions had me at the edge of the seat.

If only the remake has less on the cussing, and focus more on the thrill.

also i'd like to see the other movies in the El Mariachi trilogy (El Mariachi, Desperado & Once upon a Time in Mexico)
yeah, an El Mariachi boxset, that'd be badass.

i'd like to see One Flew Over The Cocoos Nest, any Jack Nicholson actually, I love all of his films.
Nightmare Before Christmas would be awesome to.

and I agree the Passion would look amazing on Blu, which reminds me i'd like alot of old school Bible films on Blu-Ray, they had alot of style back then, they would look amazing in high def.

Gladiator, Heat, Scarface, Jaws, Jurassic Park, Predator, Bad Boys 1+2, The Rock, Dawn of the Dead(2004), Miami Vice, Crimson Tide, Shawshank Redemption.

Bold movies are movies that are announced for BD or are a movie that comes from a BD supporting studio and is likely to eventually make it to BD.

Earth Girls are Easy

(It's crap but I like it. I like plenty of good movies too so go ahead and add Scarface and Jaws for good measure.)
