Also her singles are steadily declining every time she releases a new one. She is whoring herself out so much that people are really getting sick of her.
I used to be a fan but she has changed, and for the worse. She isn't nor will she EVER be the voice of a generation or anything of that sort nor will her attention whoring ways go down in history as iconic.(the meat dress was for the gays because people treat them like slabs of meat??? really now!?)
Also u wanna talk about performances... please name some that blow people away every time they even hear about it??? Because Britney has a fair few.
Anyways, idk why u would compare the two in the first place when Britney has been in the business for well over 10 years now and Gaga has been around for not even 4 years and has yet to prove herself as a lasting artist in the entertainment industry.
Have a nice day.
Ha ha ha. Every performance Gaga has done has been talked about. VMA's when she performed Paparazzi? How about this year when she performed Yoü & I? Did you see Britney's face? She has performed with Elton and Tony Bennet. Both of whom adore her. Her tour is one of the most successful in history. Britney was only talked about at the VMAs because she was a lip synching train wreck that one year. She doesn't write her own music and cannot perform to save her life. She stumbles around stage as her auto tune does all the work. Why don;t you actually watch some of Gaga's concert and you will see just how much she "*****s" herself out. What a ridiculous statement. Her show is phenomenal and she speaks to and for her fan base. Just face it, Gaga is here to stay and her fan base is incredible given the short time she has been around. Britney is lucky to still even be relevant. So you have a nice day.

I'm a fan of every female artists that has been mentioned here. I don't understand why fans or media have to pit these girls against each other! I know the world can have more than one female pop stars, it has for many years! If someone has such a problem with Britney Spears I don't understand why they would even open this thread. If I saw "Billy Joel blu-ray coming" I know I'm not interested and I wouldn't even start to read it. There's no reason for people to be fighting here. All these women are getting blu-ray releases, Britney & the Femme Fatale Tour, Lady Gaga & the Monster Ball Tour, Taylor Swift & the Speak Now Tour, and Madonna & the Sticky & Sweet Tour. All these blu-rays will be in my collection because I like all these artists, if you don't these no need to bash them.

LOL typical Lady Gaga trolls(or should I say 'monsters'?) in this thread. If they don't like Britney what are they doing here?

Oh.. and GaGa has achieved more then Britney has in under two years? Which artist sold their album for like 99c on Amazon and STILL couldn't break Britney's opening week sales of 'Oops!...I did it Again' ? Please refresh my memory, I forgot.

I've seen videos from a friend who was in the first row, and you can clearly see she doesn't sing most of the songs (what, maybe 90%?). I mean, she could've recorded a 'live' track like many others do, but no. Shame on her.

I dont blame her for lip-syncing. She puts on a high energy performance. I wouldn't want to go see her dance her ass off and try to sing while being puffed and out of breath. People go to these concerts to see a spectacle. If they wanted to see a live performance they'd see Celine Dion who just stands there. (hard to get my point across through text).

I saw her Circus tour in Sydney, was ****en awesome. I was so close to the stage. It was the night they were filming the dvd but nothing came of it.
Will buy this and go see this tour in Sydney again.

you didn't answer the question... what exactly did she accomplish or what records did she break that makes her any better than Britney?
And Paparazzi.... yeah.... in the end she looked like a bloody tampon on a string, and the You and I performance was a complete trainwreck, Brit's reaction was basically saying WTF just like everyone else's reactions they showed. It wasn't a great performance by any stretch or the imagination.
Yeah she performed with Tony Bennet and Elton John that has nothing to do with what I said tho.
I watched her tour on the HBO premier actually, if it wasn't for the hour long speeches she had after EVERY SONG it would have been a great show. But she just oozed with arrogance there and it wasn't becoming of her.
Also her tour is NOT one of the most successful tours in history, sorry look up some stats. It doesn't even come close.
And no, go and watch ANY of Britney's VMA performances(yes that includes the Gimme More one as well)and they are all unforgettable the Satisfaction and Oops! performance, to the Slave 4 U performance. She is a part of MTV and VMA history and that is one of the main reasons she won the Vanguard Award at this years VMA's.
and YES Gaga does ***** herself out and it isn't becoming of her. Even on her tour, it kinda stupid. The "Little Monsters" are really REALLY delusional for the most part because they have the wool over their eyes, they in reality have no clue. They eat everything she throws at them up and think its revolutionary, hell there is the running joke how EVERYONE copies Gaga. I mean we are all breathing rn so I guess we are copying Gaga since she invented air eh? yeah no.
And Britney is lucky to still be relevant???
Have you SEEN how well her singles have been doing???
And thats with little to no promo, but as for Gaga(since you just so eagerly want to compare the 2) her singles as of late aren't doing that great are they??? Yeah didn't think so.

I'm not even going to get into this whole Lady GaGa fiasco. I don't even know why that had to be brought into this thread. If you clearly had no intention other than to start a flame war, it's a little sad.

I love both of them but Britney has been in the industry for over 13 years and whatever people may say about her, that girl is still on top despite all the ups and downs. I've seen Gaga live three times, it was fun, but nowhere near as entertaining or the caliber of the shows Britney puts on..so what if Spears doesn't sing live (although i think she does more live on her current tour than she ever has before), she always been more of an entertainer; Gaga isn't completely innocent either, the backing track was insanely over the top on quite a few numbers during the show.

So glad to see other people besides me for standing up for our girl Britney. I like Taylor/gaga/britney all of em. But as much as The Monster Ball has been cramed down people throat for 3 freaking yrs its getting annoying. I loved that tour and thought really entertaing but I watched it so much.

And that is from before Born This Way even came out. I do not hate Britney, but I am saying Gaga works harder and is more of an entertainer.

So you're continuing an argument with a fan made graphic? I'm sorry... that's just a little too much. Sorry.

All hail Queen Christina when she enters the arena.

You want 3D ? Then look no further than the pixie princess of pop Kylie and her smash "The Femme Fatale" tour out of the ballpark tour "Aphrodite"

All hail the Goddess Kylie.

Subjugate yourselves minions.
