Very unnatural color timing on those new scans / German release.
I most definitely do not like the way they look.

Are the Encore Films region 2 DVD box-sets worth anything?
I have them all except for Le Viol du Vampire. I watched them a couple of times and then put them away. I'm thinking of selling them if they're worth anything.

Purchased the newly released Dracula’s Fiancee that also includes Rollin’s 1989 54 min film Lost in New York

Bith films are great. I was actually surprised at how entertaining Dracula’s Fiancee is. It has crazy absurd moments, one after another. Highly recommended.

I will listen to Samm Deighan’s commentary later on... She edited the great Lost Girls book on Jean Rollins films. I can’t imagine the commentary bot being insightful and entertianing.

Any chance someone can re-upload a photo of the Redemption Vampire Box Set? Is it just the identical plastic single releases with a card box to contain them? Does it contain the same mini Tim Lucas books as the single releases? I'm trying to decide if I want the box over the single releases.

I got rid of my set when I got the German editions (which I can’t really say who had the better transfers)

But it was the standard cases just in a slipbox. I believe they also contained the booklets but someone else may be able to confirm that they also came in the box set. Pretty sure they do.

I was watching The Nude Vampire this afternoon, and was blown away by the stonework on the majestic Romanesque chateau where the bulk of the "vampire altercation" material was filmed. Does anyone know where that chateau lies, and what it's called?

According to IMDB this is the castle where they filmed.

Suprised the new Indicator releases have bit been mentioned on this thread. I have to say they are mind blowingly good - vast improvement and the books they come with are sumptuous

They are astonishingly good! Incredible packages with essays in each booklet. These were put together by folks who clearly love Rollin’s work. I’m excited to see how many they put out. The rumor is as many as 20 of his films were acquired by Indicator.

I'm still shocked we're getting Rollin in 4K, these have been a joy to rewatch!!

Pretty much all of his non-hardcore films are. It's been stated numerous times that they acquired ~20 of his films and the chronological spine numbers reflect that.
