I dont know anything about it but the cover does say; 3D will only work with 3DTVs
So I assume it includes some passive glasses. Unless its a very costly BD with some active pairs... Side note: My apostrophe key (also quotation marks) is buggered. Edit: Looking at it again, its very cheap. Im putting my money on a couple pairs of passive glasses. If this catches on, it could become one more plus for passive TV owners. |

Thanks. I overlooked the obvious on that poster.
Smaller companies releasing stereo 3D movies, regardless of the quality, could will eventually lead to a bigger 3D library, which might inspire bigger companies who are on the fence, to wonder what the fuss is about and try to cut in on the smaller guys' 3D sales. EDIT: From the site's blog, they said, "3D is meant to be a fun gimmick, and it's the 'pop out' shots that makes it so much fun. So, there's 'Pop Shots' all over the movie. This scene has a couple of them actually. Here's a simple one, so I don't spoil all the fun when you finally watch the film." Not sure about the movie, but the 3D shot they showed has nice depth. This is side by side 3D on a regular 2D blu ray, so you have to manually set your 3D TV to 3D/side by side to blend the two side by side images into 1. I'm going to have to watch it again just for the heck of it now that you mentioned it. It's a very low budget horror movie, so as long as you don't mind that approach, the 3D is mostly strong, extreme and some medium 3D also from what I remember watching that first time years ago.

Watch ebay. That is the only place I have seen it though it may pop up from a third party seller on Amazon from time to time. Set a watch for it under camel camel camel just in case.
I got a copy a month or two ago for around 12 to 15 bucks from a seller on ebay. Haven't watched it yet as I was waiting for October. I did pop it in to just check it out and it has heavy duty handheld camera type 3D (like Porkchop 3D if you have seen that). |

I checked the first post from GMD films in the first page of this thread (click to page 1), and it looks like he's switched away from filmmaking to online channels services or something like that.
I watched Blood of Ohma again in 3D a couple months ago and the 3D holds up as strong, though the camera for the much of the first 1/2 of the film has one wobbly camera, while the other is stationary. It results in a serious challenge watching the 3D as it strains the eyes unless you sit farther back. I heard Metal Storm 3D has a similar issue, though I'm about to check that one out tonight. |

Ha! Just noticed on the back cover they used a positive blurb (post #43 in this thread) from our very own Zivouhr:

Seen it becoming available too. Understand it has excellent 3D despite being side by by side. And that it's a very low budget film.
But the reviews were very harsh. The trailer did not do it any Justice. Is it worth the investment, even for 3D? Really don't want it just to take up shelf space after one viewing. |

Joe. I don't think it'll be to your liking. I haven't seen it but as on the back of the cover it says strong sexual content and violence. (I may be wrong but did you have issues with the Stewardesses?) Last edited by robtadrian; 08-17-2019 at 07:54 AM. |

Hi robtadrian Thanks for pointing that out. Didn't get Stewardesses for that exact reason. |

Hello again everyone,
This is Paul Gorman, formerly from GMD Films, and the Director of "Blood of Ohma 3D" First, I sure do appreciate the support for the film after all these years. I've seen a few posts about the lapse of availability of the movie. With apologies, GMD Films was acquired by MaddyGTV so "Ohma 3D" was shelved for a bit there, and quite difficult to come by. It has just been re-issued by MaddyGTV and is once again available. It can be purchased at Amazon, E-bay and directly at the MaddyGTV web site. www.MaddyGTV.com/bloodofohma I'm still happy to answer any questions about the film. If anyone's interested, MaddyGTV has also re-issued my 3D Crime Series "WISP 3D" on 3D Blu-ray. https://www.maddygtv.com/wispseries And also the Tattoo Reality Series "Inked in Erie" on 3D Blu-Ray https://www.maddygtv.com/inkedinerie While both still lower budget 'indie' shows, "WISP 3D" and "Inked in Erie 3D" were both filmed with a completely different 3D Camera rig, fixing a lot of the 'eye strain' issues that derived from the hand build rig I used for "Blood of Ohma". And I haven't stopped experimenting in 3D. I have a couple of new projects in the works right now, which I'll keep you all up to date with as they come to fruition. Thanks again for your support. - Paul Paul Gorman Director MaddyGTV Networks |

So I watched this and really enjoyed it. I'm a fan of indie, low budget, B-movies. The 3D in this was great! And after a quick correspondence with Mr. Gorman, he said a sequel (Rage of Ohma) will begin filming this spring!!!
![]() If anyone is looking you can purchase Blood of Ohma through his website or ebay store. ![]() Question for those who own this, would this be considered a "bootleg"? It's a darker colored disc, but plays fine on my PS3. |

It's MOD (Manufactured on Demand). Lots of studios use it from Warner Archives to indies to studios with catalog titles they want to offer but don't have the demand to 'press'. |
