Got this as part of the 3-pack from the UK. I don't have a 3D TV yet, but the 2D version is playable.

Without watching the 3D version I guess I can't comment definitively, but the 2D transfer is absolutely horrible. I've looked around and I feel the blu-ray.com review was a tad too generous with their video score. The hi-def digest review did provide some back story to why it doesn't live up to expectations. That did help.

Overall, I'm glad to have it... just a little shocked at the picture. If you expect it beforehand, it probably won't be as much of a surprise.

it isnt the transfer...its the source material

Yeah, that's essentially what I read on high def digest. At least you know this is as good as it's going to get, so if there's any version of Dial M for Murder to grab - it's this one.

A question to anyone who owns this, was this a 1 disc release with both 2D & 3D on the same disc or did the 2d & 3d have separate discs?
