Default AvP blu-ray no longer works, anywhere!?!

i didn't see this anywhere and was wondering if anyone is having the same issue. i currently have Oppo 83 & 93 blu-ray players as well as a PS3. i own the movie AvP (Alien Vs. Predator) and haven't watched it in quite a long time but love the movie.

i put it in to play today in the 93 and it didn't work; the player has the latest firmware too. same is true for the 83 and it didn't play there either. in the past we all go to the old faithful, always works in it PS3, same thing, it didn't work in there either.

it never recognized the disc in any of the 3 players. so, it's not a player issue as all of my other disc that i have tried a couple of very recent and a couple of very old ones all worked.

if anyone has had this happen, did you buy a new disc and everything worked just fine or what did you do to get it to play. remember, we are talking about the top machines that exist for playing blu-ray movies and it doesn't work in them so again, this is not a hardware issue.

for all i know it would be the first time a blu-ray movie disc simply died (the disc itself).

thanks for everyone who helps out with this one; first time i've ever had a disc that wouldn't play on all of my blu-ray players!
