Lol you're coming into a thread about a TV show whose 2nd season wrapped up airing...a month ago? Be careful where you tread.

It provides and interesting dramatic, I have no idea where they intend to take the show as the writers of it have left to work on other things. Lilly was nice eye candy but I think they need to get back to where it was in the first season. Has Cullen forgot his wife was murdered, has he forgotten he still has yet to hunt down the last man that did it. Its time for Cullen to vbe a sadistic ass and get back on the wagon.

I'm sorry to have spoiled you, but the finale did air around a month ago. I tend to avoid threads on shows I haven't watched in full.

No they havent. The creators are stepping down from the roles of showrunners. John Shiban, one of the current writers and producers will be stepping up into the role. He is also a producer and one of the writers of Breaking Bad. He wrote two of the best BB episodes, "Negro y Azul" and "Phoenix". He has even directed a few episodes. And in the past he produced and wrote many episodes of The X Files. He is an established veteran so the show will be in good hands.

Now no John Shiban...

http://www.deadline.com/2012/11/hell...r-departs-amc/

AMC just issued a statement confirming that Hell On Wheels showrunner John Shiban has left and that the series’ third season renewal is now contingent on hiring a new showrunner approved by the network.

They are probably looking for a reputable showrunner willing to deal with a reduced budget. All the money on AMC is going towards Mad Men and The Walking Dead.

Well, it hasn't even started to be filmed yet and The Walking Dead is almost done filming this season and Mad Men hasn't started yet. But either way, It is $25+ million to film these final Breaking Bad episodes

Well I just finished watching Season 2 (had them all on my dvr, like watching them that way) and must say it was another good season. Not a huge western fan but this one I like. Interested to see how they proceed with season 3 considering how this season ended.

[Show spoiler]What are the odds Sweed survived the bridge drop? I serious doubt it considering the height, the way he hit, and the depth of the river but it is tv after all.

Now I need to watch the BBC America series Copper. I've got all of those on my dvr as well.

When I saw your post here at first i thought that was it AMC was axing the show, but I don't mind a Sat Night date, problem is now its competing with Sat Night college football may not bode to well. They would be best moving this until after football season and bringing it back in January or something.

Well, that's interesting. Not really a good sign...but they are developing a whole night around it with other Western movies. I'll still be watching (probably not live though)...but who knows, it might find a decent audience.

I will not be watching this live. I suspect this will be the last season. I thought they would have brought it back with the Walking Dead, since that is when the show's ratings where highest--when it was paired with TWD.

The showrunner dropped out and they had to wait for their filming locations to thaw out.
