Unfortunately, the CGI studio isn't around anymore--
That was the late, lamented Imagi, which went under after "Astro Boy".
And they'd already had the sequel/reboot on their plans when the ship went down.

As for why "Bay/Toy franchise"....please, someone KILL "Hollywood name-association".

I have to revisit my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles 1-3 VHS collection. It's been a very long time since I've seen it. I was a huge fan when I was a kid so it would be interesting to see how they go about with this new movie. I haven't seen the new TMNT movie or even followed any of the cartoons since the early 90's, a while back I saw "Turtles Forever" when I was flipping channel's and it was nicely put together. Although they made the original turtles seem like complete idiots, I don't remember them being that silly.

I hope there is no CGi in it and it's like the original that came out in 1990 with some good real karate with real costumes.

Yeah I can do that ..........I just didn't like the packaging on the BD release and there are so many more movies I want to buy before the turtles that I can wait for the individual release. Unless it really drops in price, I'll just get it for the nostalgia.

what does everything think if they do the turtles w/the same tech. as gollum from the lord of the rings??

the suits from the original trilogy were fine but to bring the movie into the current standards i think this would be the only way to go.

I don't know why people want to see CGI fake computer generated graphic characters fight instead of the real thing like in the original, it's just so played out with all the CGI, it's like watching a kids video game. Seriously, if you're over 17 you shouldn't want a CGI film of turtles. I hope Michael Bay doesn't touch it. Let John McTiernan who directed Die Hard and Predator direct it.

I have high hopes for this one. I went into the last one thinking it would be bad, but it blew me away!

With Bay involved, we are bound to get a dumb hot girl to play April. Any guesses?

For me, it's about fluidity. No human can realistically move like a turtle or Spider-Man or whatever else is CGI, and I personally don't find costumes to look that great compared to good CGI.
