Agreed, but how about when people distort the truth the other way?

That is not a knock against the format, but of some zealous posters who are allowed to run amok.

It does make for entertaining reading, but it does get old after a while.

It seems we have several "recent" members that are well versed in the trolling lifestyle. They are becoming a bit more vocal recently and they are beginning to show their stripes. Keep an eye out you won't be able to change their minds.

I'm a gamer as well, gut I was more referring to the middle-school/high school age types who turn their brand of console into their religion. Sony was brilliant for putting Blu-Ray in the PS3, but I think it's also brought a lot of fanaticism to the table. Same with Microsoft jumping aboard HD DVD. I suppose its inevitable as we move toward one box controlling everything in our living rooms.

He's taking his words to the "grave" and he claims that I'm going to eat my words. BUT! I did get him to admit that he would buy a Blu-ray player if Blu-ray wins, so I found that hilarious.

If somebody gets reported for trolling or whatnot, do they get a PM about it, telling them to knock it off? Or is it an automatic ban? I'm curious to see if I have anything against me....

I am sure if someone reports you, they research your threads to see what was said, This is almost like a little soap opera, pretty entertaining at times, but when you come on here and actively thrash blu-ray and give your positive effects of hd dvd the you are not here for anything other than to create mayhem. I think it works the same if you went to a hddvd forum, if they support a specific brand/format then keep it at the forum at hand(hence the web address)

It would be like a Ford man going to a cheverlot dealership and trashing Chevy or vice versa, you would only be there for one reason and it isnt to provide relative information to the topic. I ve seen both sides, I think the grass is bluer on my side of the fence as I am particular to selection, and Blu-ray has the studio support. Months down the road from now HDDVD will be transformed to the blue side, and we will all live in harmony.
