The artwork featured on this is way better, it might just be a slipcover, but that's better than nothing.

i love Sacha Baron Cohen but i didnt think The Dictator was that funny, i did laugh a lot but there was a joke like every 30 seconds and only about a third of them were funny in my opinion but 20 minutes is a lot of unrated footage, i am a lot more interested now plus exclusive packaging i pre-ordered. im still hoping this is a steelbook or digibook but ya its probably just a slip

Hopefully they shed some more light on the Amazon exclusive before we reach release date. I'd love a gold slipcover with that poster art, but don't want to order until I'm 100% certain on what it is.

I wouldn't doubt it, plenty of Paramount Blu-Rays have slipcovers even tho they don't show it on the stock image.

This was pretty good, not classic Cohen but definitely pretty funny. I dunno if it's buy material unless it comes with a lot of extras.

I kind of thought the home video version would be an extended cut - too bad Universal didn't release 'Bruno' in it's complete NC-17 rated version.

I pre-ordered the Amazon exclusive and I just got the following email. I wonder if this is just for the exclusive.

That would be my best guess. I wished Amazon would update their site with the appropriate details, so that we can make an informed decision.

I'm interested in the BB exclusive, but I'm not sure I want to double-dip in this instance. I've got a difficult choice to make......

So, does that mean an "exclusive" slip or does that mean the regular, non-Amazon version won't have a slip?

For me, this is one time where I'm hoping for no slip on the regular release. I have a $25 WM giftcard and I've been giving myself ulcers trying to decide what to use it on.

Catalogs are best, as they usually don't have a slip and I hate WM's stickers on their slips because they usually make a mess coming off. Yet their catalogs are so hit or miss, you never know if they'll even have something.

When I saw the stock photo of this, it looked like no slip and I don't see another new release for a while, especially one I'm confident WM will have, that doesn't have a slip, so considering how expensive Aug and Sept are, I'd LOVE to get this film without the slip and save $20.

If the regular edition comes with a slip and you would rather not have one, buy it and trash the slip. Problem solved.
