Please describe where it is listed as temporary? At least on "The Hobbit an Unexpected Journey" EXTENDED EDITION (ARTWORK TBA***) is printed on the picture itself.

EDIT: OK found it!
NOTE - This seems to only work on the picture on the pre-order page: here
When you hold the cursor over the artwork a yellow message appears stating: "House of Wax 3D, temporary cover art", but when holding the cursor over the same-duplicate-picture on any-other page like the 3D release calendar page the yellow message states: "House of Wax 3D (Blu-ray)"

Sweet! Great flick. But man that cover art is not very good. The DVD art is better.

Isn't this the actual artwork?

Looks like it may be final, at least show up the same on promotional doc posted, however (as I see you say) on this site if you roll your pointer over the art the message shows up a message of Temporary Cover Art.

ps: By the way in my ordered list. I rarely even glance at the covers.

According to Warner's press ad, it is--

So, uh, BR, can we lose the Photoshop filler, before Amazon believes it?

(Now, all we need is a nice last-minute Fathom screening... )

I very much dislike that cover art. That being said, I am so looking forward to this. I actually bought my 3DTV because of studios releasing older movies in 3D, meaning movies that were made for 3D (i.e. Creature From the Black Lagoon) and part of the reason was my hope for a Blu-Ray 3D release of this film!

Default There is a lenticular slipcover for HOUSE OF WAX

I am not sure if this was posted before because if it was I missed it, but DVDDRIVE-IN.COM is reporting the following regarding the House of Wax 3D release:

. . .featuring special 3D lenticular packaging, the disc will include a new featurette, an audio commentary, vintage newsreel, theatrical trailer, and the 1933 feature MYSTERY IN THE WAX MUSEUM.

The photo shown on the website is the same cover art that is posted on blu-ray.com. Here is the link to the article:

Monster Club? I've never heard of that one. Can anyone give me a opinion or review? Thanks.

Default The Monster Club

It's an anthology film by the company (and some of the film makers) of Asylum, Tales from the Crypt, and several others. It's been a long time since I've seen it, but as I recall, it had three stories, one of which has Vincent Price as a vampire. Another one, the best as I recall, features a vampire/werewolf crossbreed called a Shadmock (a name that stuck in my head). I've forgotten what the third story is about, but I think it had another crossbreed, maybe with a ghoul (?). The film has a more comical tone than the others in the series, and it has odd musical numbers between the stories. It has a great cast though with Price, Donald Pleasence, and John Carradine.

Amicus, for those of us who know.
It's easily the most kid-friendly and intentional-campy of the 60's Amicus-thologies (you could tell the genre/studio was hitting its last days), but a good introduction before moving on to the better known ones. And Vincent, of course.

Look at the price history. It was $25.19 up until a few hour ago. May well go back down again, or maybe not.
