Absolutely! Not only does the show get better and looks better due to newer games, they went back and remastered those first five seasons in Halo HD. |

Apparently there's a Best Buy exclusive for the RVBX Collection set, that has an exclusive 15th disc. I bought it for about $80 on eBay yesterday, I'll let you know what's on that 15th disc and I'll add it to the database soon. The exclusive disc is called "Red vs. Blue Mini-Adventures." The PSA and special feature videos are sometimes even funnier than the seasons themselves for this show, so I figured I might as well pick the exclusive set up since it's pretty rare to find apparently. The same set is available on the official Rooster Teeth store, but it's for full retail price at like $164, so I think I got a pretty good deal.

I got my collection in the mail and watched the first disc. I'm very optimistic about this impulse buy!
![]() The humor has held up extremely well, too! I also forgot that there was actually somewhat of a story, and I really like it as simple as it is. I'm not sure if they remastered it, but I thought the video really popped off the screen... very sharp and vibrant, primitive textures from a by-gone era be damned. The FBI Warning and opening logo looks like 240p quality (terrible!), but thankfully the actual show seems to have been cleaned up really well. ![]() On a somewhat more negative note, I'm sure this has already been discussed to death, but the actual box the set comes in is really shoddy... It feels super cheap. But maybe it will last a while longer than it seems it will! I wish they worked a little harder on the packaging ![]() But so far, I think this will be a great impulse buy ![]() |

Just finished up watching Seasons 1-10, along with all the special features. It's been a few years since I had watched any of the RvB seasons so it was great to go back and see some of those hilarious jokes and gags all over again. Special features were awesome too. I splurged on the Best Buy Exclusive and probably spent more than I should have, but I feel it's worth it; there's so much to watch in this set.

The Red vs. Blue Complete Collection is down to $53.99, the lowest it's ever been I believe. I recommend that anyone that is a fan of the series pick it up, as there are tons of special features that are every bit as funny as the episodes themselves.

Heads up to those of you who want to get the most out of this set I suggest you attempt a price match at Best buy over the phone for this:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/red-vs-b...lue&lp=14&cp=1 It includes a special bonus disc of Mini Adventures only available through best buy and the Rooster Teeth store. Took me about 20 minutes on the phone, but in my opinion worth it, since I enjoy those mini series. It is a DVD though! (only the bonus disc rest of set is Blu Ray) |

Be advised, Rooster Teeth (the parent company responsible for producing Red vs. Blue and releasing the 10 year Red vs. Blue Blu-ray set) has claimed that Amazon LLC is selling bootlegs of this set. I say claimed because I don't believe them, though I don't recommend purchasing this set from Amazon as a result of this communication. To clarify, I don't recommend purchasing this set period, from anyone. When asked about the disc 11 issue (for anyone who doesn't know, disc 11 is a DVD where all other discs are Blu-ray), the parent company Rooster Teeth, via representative Lauren M., claimed that Amazon is selling bootlegs and is a third party seller (not affiliated with Rooster Teeth) and therefore not selling a product that Rooster Teeth has information on or is responsible for.
She further stated, "Thank you for your email. You are speaking to a real Rooster Teeth Customer Service Representative, although we would love to help you. We are not at all associated with Amazon and are not liable for any purchases from their company. This is because these could be fakes and or not purchased from us." She went on to state, "The reason customer on Amazon have not received a straight answer concerning these issues is because we do not handle orders from third party sellers. We do not have any knowledge of what they are actually doing with our products when or if they order them from us. Some sellers make copies or repackage them, ect. This is why we are unable to give straight answers.... We have not had any direct complaints about the 11 and 14 discs coming as a DVD instead of a Blu-Rays. If this has happened to customers who purchase directly from us then they will contact us and we will have it replaced because that would be the manufacturer who misplaced those.... I spoke to my manager and this is not an issue we have been contacted about before.... All discs in the set are suppose to be Blu-Ray for those sets." She then asked me for a link, and no I am not kidding, a link to Amazon.com. I sent her the link and concluded that she may have some neurological problem and I should feel sorry for her rather than be annoyed. Personally, I don't believe this pile of, well, let us call it a pile and move on. This claim of Amazon (and all third party sellers which would include Best Buy) selling fakes or bootlegs or some product that is somehow inauthentic and therefore not under Rooster Teeth's domain was made in a context of the Rooster Teeth representative claiming that Disc 11 is supposed to be a Blu-ray, as are all discs in the set, which was made in defense to my claim that my disc 11 (and those of several friends in the real world and online) was and were DVDs instead of Blu-rays. I explained that the issue was so widespread that the listing on Blu-ray.com had changed to reflect that disc 11 was a DVD and the listing on Amazon had a similar notation. She claimed it is meant to be a Blu-ray. I don't support this kind of double dealing and if that is how this company is going to behave, accusing Amazon of selling fakes and merchandise that has been tampered with, all in an effort to avoid disc replacement, I don't believe they should be supported. I state freely, there are many sources of high quality DVD bootlegs (I have yet to find a Blu-ray source) and I'd rather have a bootleg than give money for a set that goes to a company that takes so little responsibility for their products. The packaging is bad enough (and it is the worst I've ever seen) but this accusation against a company that has taken great care of me and my family, providing us with goods, both at amazing prices and at times when we could not procure them ourselves out in the world, when mail order was the only option, is, in my opinion, dubious and downright disrespectful. This company, Rooster Teeth, sells a product to Amazon and Best Buy (where we found another copy with a disc 11 DVD) which they are meant to sell to us as consumers, and yet, Rooster Teeth doesn't stand by their product in any way. They don't care if there is a defect and they will say anything to avoid responsibility. My advice, which may well be worth nothing, is that you not purchase anything with a Rooster Teeth logo until they address this issue and issue a statement acknowledging that the copies of this they provided Amazon LLC to sell were authentic and not bootlegs and then begin a disc replacement program given their claim that disc 11 was actually meant to be a Blu-ray. Yes, I've let this annoying Rooster Teeth representative bother me. I am bothered. |

For anyone that owns this set. On season 3 I noticed missing audio first when donut gets run over. His scream is missing. Then when curch is trying to shoot donut some of churchs lines are missing.
