Finally! Another steelbook that includes the 3D copy! UK is seriously behind the rest of the world when it comes to this!

I'm happy with the price since it offers everything you want in a single package!

Prometheus lands on DVD and Blu-ray on 1 October http://www.play.com/promotion.html?s...|kwrometheus. Thanks to the Engineers, we’ve managed to get our extraterrestrial hands on a Play.com exclusive Blu-ray steelbook with 2D, 3D and digital copies of the film. More details on the steelbook's special features are coming soon! http://www.play.com/DVD/Blu-ray/4-/2...lbookexclusive
Really can't complain!

The price is a bit too steep, IMO.

I really hope they decrease the price on the SteelBook. The 3D set is also overpriced as Amazon are selling it for £17.99, £4 cheaper than play.

If - if - they have somehow managed to strike up a deal with Fox to exclusively include the rumoured (but unconfirmed) extended edition in the steelbook then I think all of the price complaints will go away - mine included.

But that is completely wishful thinking.

The content on the 3D is the same across all the retailers but it does have a lot more than the standard blu-ray, about 5-6 hours of additional material not on the normal blu-ray.
In terms of special features DVD has 10 minutes, Blu-ray 1 hour and the 3D sku has 7 hours plus

Will the 3D Blu-ray special features (Not movie) work on my PS3 with a 2D HDTV? It worked for Piranha 3D but I'm not so sure with newer releases.

Yes. All 3D movies include a 2D version whether on the 3D disk or on a separate disk

Nice steelbook, but anything above €30 is too much!

I think he was asking, 'will the special features on the 3D disc work on his PS3 with a standard 2D TV?'. The answer is still yes, but he wasn't asking about whether or not it would contain a 2D version of the film.

Some parasite is selling this on eBay for £40 already, claiming that it is sold out and extremely rare, lol.

Agreed, pre-ordered it but I will wait and see what other versions will be offered.

I'm also seeing it tonight for the first time so I can judge if the SB is worth it

He's also selling the Play.com Exclusive Godfather trilogy Steelbook & Terminator Steelbook for the same price lol!

There are a few sellers on Ebay with £30 price tags on most of the £9.99/£10.99 Centenary Steelbooks..........IDIOTS!!

I really want this but with James Bond Collection, Famous Five Complete Collectors, The Raid Steelbook, Cabin in the Woods Steelbook, Godfather Trilogy Steelbook on order i'm skint that month Hopefully they still have stock on the 15th October as I get paid then

EDIT: I will cancel my Famous Five set & order it on the 15th, as it's not limited!

Not sure why people are complaining about the price. 3D copy costs $45 (£29.54) in Australia, and I'm not even sure if that includes the 2D copy. Plus it's not even a steelbook.
