Tetsuo is available from sendit for £12.99, free delivery too. Cheapest I've been able to find it.

Hello, Can someone tell me if Kotoko and Tetsuo Blu-rays are going to be Region B locked or Region Free??? I would love to import these...

I love my Kamikaze Girls Blu-ray and would like to add more Third Window Blu-rays to it!

Hey Kev,

The preliminary info is that these will be Region-B "locked". We will have official reviews and you will know for sure what their region coding status is

Am I remembering correctly...I feel I read somewhere here that the official online store is no longer running next month?

Err... I know it won't be running next month, I was wondering if it was running after that.

it's closed for one month only. as far as I remember, adam is off to Japan to work on new acquisitions and won't be able to have anyone there in the uk to run the shop until the following month. worth keeping an eye out for 2013 as I get the feeling we might start seeing some lost classics and restorations somewhere down the line.

Some of these possible restorations could be Shinya Tsukamoto titles if the sales of the Tetsuo bluray are good enough.

My bet is on the old artsmagic titles like Bullet Ballet, Hiruko the Goblin or even Gemini

I'd love to see some Iwai and Somai from Third Window in 2013. I have a feeling some of Somai's films would need to be restored, Iwai's should be fine.

i'd have thought the same, but, there was a mention of a touring retrospective in the past year that was to highlight some of the relatively unknown gems of the past decade from japan (i.e 2000 - 2010) and a lot of films that made the list were dropped or proved difficult because prints are apparently not well looked after. so, restoration might be required more often than most imagine.

that said, the less obvious the better, as i think a lot of people plump far more easily for third window choices - even if the occasional one proves to not really hit at all well with the audience that is paying attention to the label.

somai's films might be easier because of the screenings at recent festivals.

Just finished watching the Tetsuo double set. Outstanding release.

One of my favourite of 2012.

Body Hammer is such a bloody superb film.

x2 on this. The new Japanese BD of All About Lily Chou-Chou is really gorgeous, a very nice improvement over the DVD I had.

Third Window will be announcing their 2013 schedule soon and, apart from what's already announced, they "have 4 BIG releases scheduled for next year: 2 restored classics and 2 new Japanese hits".
