USA Sector 7 3D Blu-ray (2011) [Region A Locked]

Moderator note: Sector 7 was released on 3D Blu-ray in the US and Hong Kong. Both releases are Region A locked and have English subtitles (the US release also has an English dub track). There is a shortened Region B locked French release but this is not English-friendly.

Description:
Quote:
Directed by Kim Ji-hoon and produced by JK Youn (Tidal Wave), the sci-fi action thriller Sector 7 revolves around an oil rig crew forced to battle a deadly creature at sea. Hae-jun works at an offshore rig in Sector 7, a real-life joint-development zone that harbors Korea’s hopes of one day becoming energy-independent. Her greatest dream is to find oil, an obsessive quest that has yielded no results. Along with a crew that includes Dong-soo and ship captain Jeong-man, Hae-jun decides to conduct one last drilling expedition before withdrawing as instructed by headquarters. But when things start to go dreadfully wrong on the rig, the crew is overwhelmed by the disconcerting feeling that something is out there . . .
Here was my selling point, read this on another DVD website (about the 3d, I've read better reviews on the movie itself):
Quote:
The first Korean film to be shot in 3D for IMAX screens, Sector 7 is a movie that bends over backward to give the viewer bang for their buck. The 3D is deep and extreme, the CG spectacle frequent, and the finale is just plain over-the-top, with -- seriously, literally -- more explosions than I remember in Transformers 3 packed into a span of 10 minutes. Of course, when "more" is your only creative mandate, it's shouldn't be surprising that the film lacks any sort of narrative consistency, and drags on a good 15 minutes past a seemingly obvious finish line.
I found my copy on Amazon for 18.00 USD (that is with shipping), pretty cheap. I'm excited for this to arrive, has anyone else watched this yet? Care to share your thoughts if you have?

The English is a dub so hopefully they casted voices correctly, nothing worse than a big burly guy with a squeaker voice
