in most stores I went to they sold more of the blu-ray versions then the DVD version.

Has anyone who has ever bought this product either in store/online ever had issues with it? I just looked online and saw a review and one had said that the discs were defective. They also went on to explain that other customers who ordered their copy online received with discs missing. Is worth taking the risk of purchasing this?

A the store i work at we gt in at least 2 defctive BDs a week

I bought the Target exclusive, and watched the whole thing, extras included...everything worked just fine! A great purchase IMO!

Bought my copy of the Target Exclusive Today for $22.99. I wasn't sure how long the sale was going on for and saw it was only going on until 10/6. They only had two left of the blu-ray and one was torn open so I got the one behind it that was still perfectly sealed.

$15 now. I might just pick it up. The reason I'm hesitating is because the film was just ok for me. The reason I'm even considering to get this is because of Jennifer Lawrence and Lenny Kravitz's performances.

some targets i have been to in san diego, were still selling it
so you might find one or 2 copies on shelf but ymmv

They were re-released at Target when Catching Fire came out. Not sure about all stores, but I have heard multiple reports of stores having them recently, including my own.

All three discs for the first movie are Blu-rays.
