Is this program still active? I tried to request an invite but it didn't send me one. Does anybody have any invites to share?

It is a good idea if you watch a lot of movie.

Here are some questions:

1. Is the card transferable and if not, what will stop me from using it 30 times in 30 days while I give the card to my family or friends. (I already have the same Netflix account that is used in three different households)

2. If the card is not transferable, what will stop me from going to the theatre and getting the ticket, and then giving the ticket away.

3. Will the card work for new releases that are "No Passes Accepted" for the first few weeks.

Probably have to wait until next week's paycheck to sign up. I like the idea, though. I hope they'll still be doing by next week. Does anybody happen to know?

Do you need to use your phone for this? I don't have an iphone or an ipod that can get the app most likely as mine is G2. Will just using the moviepass card work or do I need the app?

Also can I see the same movie more then once? Like see Safe Haven on Friday and then a week later see it again?

Welcome back, Detective!

You do need the phone in order to use it, and you can only see the same movie once.

It's good to be back.

Sucks about needing the app. Guess I'll have to use my sisters Ipod as it's one of the newer ones. Good thing a lot of movies are coming out then as I can just wait till BD for a second viewing.

If you don't have an iPhone you can always use the mobile website from any smart phone. Also this past week the Android app came out.

Can you purchase your tickets ahead of time and online? I only go to assigned seating theaters. The description makes it sound like you need to be at the theater to purchase even through the phone app.

Yeah you've got to check in via GPS so they can activate your debit card.

I've had this since the 10th of January and if the bill is indeed 29.99, ive more than got my moneys worth. Virtually no problems thus far.

Thanks, that pretty much makes it useless for me. Most showings sell out well before you arrive (or even that day on big releases) and since they are assigned seating the good seats are gone.

You can go to the theater in the morning and get your ticket for a showing later in the day, you just can't do it the day before or online or anything.

Sorry for all these questions but is it true you have to make a full year commitment when you sign up? I read from someone that you pay for a full 12 months when signing up.

Just not worth it in LA. I would spend an hour fighting traffic, paying for parking and still not guaranteeing a good seat on new releases, opening weekend. I'll stick with the Arclight membership. Moviepass is an interesting concept but the ticket purchasing requirements are a bit eyebrow raising.

Default Sounds interesting...

Can anyone who's been doing this between 3-6 months give any additional insight?
