Some slightly troubling news. I was wondering why it seemed no one had listings for season two save for JB. It's MIA in Big W, Target, Sanity etc. According to word I've received it "was pulled from the market by the distributor as it did not meet minimum volume requirements". Ouch.

Looks like JB is the only place to get it and it may be very limited so if you're planning to buy local you may want to act soon or potentially miss out. No word as to what's going on with season three but it might be back to JB exclusives from now on. Really hoping JB doesn't decide to jack the price up because of this in the same way they did when TOS was exclusive to them.

If anyone wants, I'll contact Paramount tomorrow about this and see what they say.

Thanks for the tip, atexp. I grabbed the last copy from my local JB today.

Although he didn't know about this particular issue, the staffer said they only tended to keep one copy of each Enterprise season in stock due to its low sales so far. If there indeed won't be any available inventory at Paramount, what's on the shelves in your local JB may be all that's left.

I take it TNG is selling better and we don't have to worry about this happening with that show too? Info from Paramount would be much appreciated, adamclark. Has their renewed push of Star Trek not been the success they hoped, I wonder? The low prices for TNG suggest otherwise, but perhaps that's unrelated.

ENT is also selling in low numbers in the US. I hope this doesn't discourage CBS from proceeding with DS9...

I think they're judging whether to proceed on DS9 and Voyager based more on the sales of TNG since those shows, like TNG, would have to be remastered. I think the main reason Enterprise is being released on blu-ray is because it can be and for completist sake. No real work other than putting it on disc has to be done so why not put it out since there will be at least some return for a very minimal investment.

A lack of sales isn't irrelevant for Enterprise but it certainly is far less troubling than it would be if TNG were meeting the same fate. I'm not fully convinced the other 2 shows will get the remaster treatment, but if they don't, it'll be for reasons other than Enterprise's low sales.

I spoke to Paramount today but the person I needed to speak to wasn't there so they sent an email to him about my enquiry. I mentioned about the JB exclusives of this show and how you needed to purchase all four seasons in order to get the plaque. So if they stop releasing the Blu-rays, no one will be getting them. They said he probably won't be in tomorrow or next week. But as soon as I get a response from him, I'll post it here.

Glad to help.

Paramount also said that Season 4 will follow shortly after.

Excellent, thanks for looking into it. So was the low sales report a false alarm? Or are they sticking it out to increase Trek's visibility in the marketplace or something similar?

Uneven as Enterprise is, I can't help rooting for it as the Trek underdog. I'd love to hear that it's selling better than expected.

Wow, March. I had better go a bit slower watching season 1 and 2 then, I'm going to have to stretch it out a bit

Given that JBs promotional offer currently requires you to buy all 4 seasons and redeem the codes by May 1, 2014, I'm guessing that the schedule has changed since originally planned. Given that S3 is looking like January for US/Canada, I'd have thought April for S4, which wouldn't be much of a gap if it was the same here, but would at least allow to not violate the T&Cs of the offer!

I admit, the fanboy in me is buying all 4 seasons from JB-Hi Fi in order to get that plaque...
Anyone else?

I'm doing the same. That's probably a huge reason why I contacted them.
