The January release is only there because it had to be pushed back to edit the original ending after the shootings in Aurora, Colorado. It featured a theater massacre, and they felt it would be insensitive to release it that way, so they went back and changed the ending of the film. You can't really knock it for having a January release when it original was already supposed to be out, considering the matter was sort of out of their hands in a way.

Well, maybe not boring exactly but I still don't really see what all the fuss is about.

I concur as well. I didn't really know what to make of the book. It wasn't really good in a classic sense, IMO, but it wasn't really bad as well. Same goes for the movie. It looks like it could be decent and that DiCaprio will make a good Gatsby, but I just don't know.

Anyways, maybe I'm the only one, but I'm kinda, sorta, excited for The Last Stand just to see Ahnuld get back into making cheesy, but entertaining blow 'em ups.

Holy crap, 2013 looks like it'll be a wretched year for Hollywood movies. It's sad that as of now my #1 most anticipated mainstream release is Iron Man 3, given that the 2nd one was terrible. At this point I just want more Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark and that's about as high as my expectations will be.

I don't go to the theatre too often these days (although last year and 2008 were the exceptions) and from the looks of 2013's release list, I reckon I'll be staying home.

yea, i remember growing up in the 70's and 80's wishing for the movies that are actually being made now. If we would have had these films back then my head would have exploded. Nowadays people take them for granted and pick them apart for every little thing instead of just enjoying them for what they are-ENTERTAINMENT.
