I have all four of these on Arrow UK and love them all. Personally I think the pic quality on Tenebrae is fine and the packaging for the Demons movies is fantastic. So good in fact that I have the individual releases as well as the steelcase.

Will someone please release Argento's Opera already though? Heck, I want Sleepless, Trauma and Mother of Tears as well.

Yeah, really. In that case, maybe Synapse snags the U.S. rights to Michele Soavi flicks Stage Fright, The Church and Dellamorte Dellamore for this year as well?

I know! I think it is one of Argento's most under appreciated movies. Cool story and insanely gory in its unrated version. I know there was a VERY limited German release of Sleepless but the price to import would have been astronomical.

Both releases are region free. And I love the Arrow packaging, myself.

I'm happy to grab Synapse's release of Tenebre, since the picture quality on Arrow's release is, admittedly, quite subpar.

But yeah, I haven't heard of anything steady coming from them, and I think I heard they weren't interested in selling catalog titles.

Oddly enough, Blu-ray.com says they're handling Django Unchained? Somehow seems like a strange choice for distributor, but I suppose they have a lot of money.
Anchor Bay is the home video distributor for TWC titles.

Wild Side's looks a little hot, but the lack of the scan noise makes it the winner hands down.

I guess it depends on your definition of "astronomical." A little over $50 including shipping to the US, but I doubt we're gonna see another release any time soon. I just watched it and thought it looked great - I'm glad I made the investment. Now if someone would just put out Opera (with the Italian soundtrack), I'd really be happy.

I like Sleepless, but only with the Italian language track. I think the english version has some of the worst dubbing ever heard in a Argento film.
On top of that, more care was put into the re-recording of the final mix for the Italian version with stronger bass and sound effects.

Oh man, Dellamorte Dellamore is my most wanted. I actually imported the Italian disc last year, but I don't have a region free player (yet) so I can't even watch it. I'd love a Synapse release.

I haven't seen The Chruch or Stage Fight though, should I?

Germany is currently selling a blu-ray version of DELLAMORTE DELLAMORE that is region free.

I'd double up on Phenomena (no dnr I'd assume), and Demons I and II. The Wild Side disk for Tenebre though is perfect for me.

You don't find the forced French subtitles annoying? Or have you found a way to defeat them?

Let's not forget The Sect. There's not even an adequate DVD of that, never mind a Blu-ray!

Is the FSK-18 version uncut? Both "Cemetery Man" and "Zombie Cemetery" show the same FSK-18 certificate on the cover photos, but that's... weird, that they would release it under two titles and one of them not be the heavily cut FSK-16 print. (EDIT: Zombie Cemetery is released by Intergroove, the same guys who did that goofy 3D version of DAWN OF THE DEAD. I still figure these guys are a bootleg outfit, but who knows...)

The Austrian disc from '84 Entertainment is uncut, but it's pretty expensive (one of those $40+ Media Book sets) and the transfer KINDA' SUCKS.

I'm not sure... do you know what scenes were cut?

Also, I'm porting this over from the Scream! Thread:

I have a few suggestions for the PHENOMENA and TENEBRAE covers:

To add to this, both cover concepts are taken from posters released at the time of the films theatrical runs. The PHENOMENA was taken from the LP release, and the TENEBRAE is from one of the original posters
