They've remade this twice with the newest series and with the theatrical feature, and STILL they haven't rung in the twist I expected to get when I first watched the Shatner. I was sure that after he shot the thing and the pilot and everybody seized him, that the pilot was going to say, 'how do you think we keep these things in the air? You killed our in-flight mechanic!'

I guess there's no chance of anybody going there with that idea now with the way the 737s are handling.

I thought it was one of the funniest things I had seen the first time I saw it in then 1990’s.

I recently watched it in a streaming channel (Hulu?) and it held up fabulously well.

I would also mention The Prisoner-A, B & C. I fell like standing up and applauding the episode and the character when I watch it.
