There would have been updates if there hadn't been problems with the Internet access at the hotel. I'm guessing you will soon see some nice stuff if you just show a little more patience

There is absolutely nothing to be worried about. The North American news is generally posted by ONE person, Josh. He's at the Blu-ray Festival and I'm sure will post breaking news if there is anything.

Look at CEDIA stuff to see what happens when you give the guys some time. Absolutely amazing.

Default Patience often has its own rewards...

Josh is probably waiting to give us something sneaky and surprisingly pleasant, like the news we got last week--early, I might add--that T. did not take the week, nor do as well as the world was lead by Paramount to believe.

Somebody give that guy a tammy.......
No news is great news anymore. With all the National Enquirer style news we are getting today on the forums, read that for a while, or sign up for one of those emails from home media digest, they are full of news.

but this is like the 3rd or 4th thread i have read about this, I am sure he is not boycotting us.
here are some links with news

^ ^ ^

Also keep in mind, regarding Home Media Magazine that even if their two reporters had had hotel internet access problems, as did Josh and Ben, the HMM journalists would have only needed to drive about 45 min. down south to their offices in Santa Ana for complete journalistic staff support.

Give our guys a break.

Guys (gals?)... sorry for the lack of updates. It pains both Josh and Myself that we were unable to post from LA. The biggest news from the Festival was the additional Fox titles, Panny 1.1 player and the solidarity shown by the members of the BDA. No, Universal didn't announce they are dropping HD DVD and Warner made no official announcements.

However, we have some exclusive content for all of you that will be appearing on the site over the next few days, including an exclusive interview with Brad Bird and literally hundreds of photos of the event. We are going to be showing you every aspect of the Blu-ray Festival and I think you'll find that it was worth the wait!

Sorry for the delay in news, folks. I am personally working to help rectify the situation, but I need to make sure the check is going to clear I think we relied a little too much on the infrastructure to support us, when we really needed to bring the infrastructure.

This was a learning experience for both me and Ben, and rest assured our upcoming event coverage will be a lot more seamless to you guys.

Again, sorry for the delay. Hopefully, I have everything that happened outside of the event posted, and the event stuff should go live tonight or tomorrow.
