United Kingdom Wreck It Ralph UK Blu-ray?

Is Disney going to release Wreck It Ralph on Blu-ray in UK any time this year?

I see that in US they have the Collector's Edition, but nothing so far and if it would've had Amazon would have for sale.

Yes they will but remember our theatrical release was 3 months after the US so we can expect the UK BD release around May/June.

The US release is down to about £15/16 and is region free so why not import?

As the others have said we're a bit behind, it is odd that it doesn't have a release date yet.

I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition for $19.99 and it arrived a less than 2 weeks after release with Standard Shipping. It has jumped in price now so it's over the £15 limit so you'd have upgrade to Expedited Shipping just in case your package gets stopped by customs. If it clears customs without getting stopped you'll get your deposit back.

It'll probably be June, as so far it's had pretty much the same US/UK release pattern as The Muppets last year.

I saw somewhere else, which gets release at the same time as the UK, is getting in September so that seems like a good guess to me. Since June is only 2 months away, I doubt that it'd come that fast without being announced.

Yeah I'm really surprised that this hasn't been announced yet. I was expecting June/July. Really trying to stop myself from ordering the US blu.

Portugal too, but I don't think people there really care about Blu-ray or know what it is. I was there and very little of BD existed in stores.

I just recently got the "Disney Classics Sleeve" edition of this film, and the damn spine on the plastic case itself has a huge slash going through it.

It must've come out of the packaging factory like that, since the slipcover itself was fine, but it was all sealed up.

Did anyone else get that with this version?

It's right through the paper insert too.

Used to get this with steelbooks from Amazon, it’s likely down to whomever unpacked the box used a knife to cut the tape open so all copies on the top centre get a lovely slash across them.

It was under the slipcover, and the slipcover was sealed in the cellophane.
