I'm still trying to figure out which version to get. I'm only interested in the bonus video content, not packaging. Can you guys let me know exactly what is on each version? I've seen the Comic-Con footage included on the Target disc online. For the Best Buy and Wal Mart exclusive footage, who is interviewed? I'm not interested in EPK style interviews with the cast talking about their characters and trying to "sell" the movie. I've already been sold on the film, so I'm interested in behind-the-scenes stories and interviews with Tarantino. Thanks for the help.

Btw, people mistakenly use G1 for anything bigger than BD size. The BBY exclusive IS NOT G1, it's actually bigger (wider). But, I'm just being technical.
Yeah at first the thought of the G1 size bothered me, until I realized a lot my of digipack collections such as Dark Knight trilogy and the Terminator anthology were the same size. Even my Apocalypse Now Full Disclosure edition is that size and I always just thought of that as a special edition over the regular bluray sized version. Went for the BB exclusive with my reward zone coupons!!

IMO the steelbook is overrated. Either that or the digipack is very underrated. The digipack gives you the most bang for your buck.

I just finished watching the 23+ minute bonus disk that came with the Walmart exclusive. All of the principal players commented on the movie and their parts. Quentin makes comments. of course. Lots of effusive (well deserved) praise for Tarantino from the actors. It is a DVD bonus disk.

I'm not sure if the bonus disk with the Target Steel is the same. Anyone watch it yet?

I'm glad I got the BB version. All the discs are in the case, the title IS ON the spine, but not the spine of the slip cover. My favorite part is that the slip cover is a title only, but when the case is in the slip it has the title over lay on the picture on the case which i think is neat.

Reminds me of the criterian DVD case for "Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas" that i really like the look of.

I'm satisfied.

Will let you guys know about the features and everything later. I've never seen the movie, total blind buy.

I also like the BB version since it kinda matches the style of packaging of my Tarantino XX collection.

picked non American version, As a Canadian I don't know if I should be offended by the exclusion of the Future Shop Steelbook. I mean this is a "North American" thread with Canada being part of North America.

Good choice. The Best Buy DigiPak is taller than the usual Blu-ray packaging.

lmao, just cannot help making another anti-BBY statement. you just make it so obvious.

the bby version has better supplements than the others. having said that, i'm a steelbook junkie and would pick the target sb if i can only have one. but, as you can see from my photo that you pirated, i bought 3 versions.

I keep on hearing many on hear say that but I personally like the Future Shop version the best. To me it looks classier and has a nicer back and inside. The only downside is the bilingual language, but overall I still say it's better looking. The picture on the back of the Target edition is awkwardly framed, and the inside is just a photo from the movie. The FS steelbook is more consistent and keeps the same art style as the front throughout, and it doesn't have that ugly border.

And I agree, don't know why Canadian editons are constantly ignored from people on this site. We have pretty much identical discs right down to the packaging, other then the few exclusives here and there, and we are both in North America with the same region coding.

The packaging didn't really bother me. I was going for the best looks. Don't care about special features on movies. Sorry, deltasun.

The BB packaging looks good, but the SB edges over it slightly. So i've made my choice and just got back with the SB.
