I'll probably end up getting the Batman set. It looks a hell of a lot cheaper than the "Batman Anthology", and Batman Forever and Batman & Robin are guilty pleasures.

I grew up with those two movies. As cheesy as they are, I still have a soft spot for them.

Before you get the Lethal Weapon set, be sure to check out some of the posts here and over at the Best Buy Ad 5/26-6/1. You'll be getting seriously lame versions of LW1 & 2. It's not worth it, man. Just 9 posts back, MifuneFan posted a link to the UK 5-disc remastered set for the same price!

I've been thinking about buying the existing Dirty Harry Blu-ray collection from Amazon for months now, and I'm glad that I waited.

The first four Dirty Harry movies suffice for me, so I'll buy this in a second if the price is right.

Thanks. That's a back-up plan in case I don't like what I see with the new package. It'll probably be a while before I get around to picking it up anyway.

I'm holding out for the remastered Lethal Weapon 1 & 2 discs only. I had the lossy releases but unloaded them a few years ago. 3 and 4 are so bad. They aren't even fun in say a "so bad it's good" way like Superman 3 and 4. A Lethal Weapon digibook would be real cool. I'd throw down 20 bucks for that, no questions asked. (as long as it's the remaster of course!)

For those buying the LW set, contact WB and tell them. Since the back cover clearly states that they are the remastered discs with DTS-HD, but they included the dated lossy versions, I'm sure they will likely replace your discs with the correct ones. WB is usually great about that.

That's not a bad idea at all..or maybe just get the UK release...also gonna grab the comedy pack...the misses always complaining that i don't have enough comedy's. this will bump it up by 4

Pity i already have the digi book of Batman,and the steel of Batman returns,otherwise id be grabbing the Batman set too

I like these sets and I love it when these are released with discs for each movie. I may purchase the Comedy, Dirty Harry, and Kids sets and print off some covers to keep things neat, tidy and keep the OCD in check

Umm, so has anybody seen the TMNT set in stores? I can't find it online. I just called two best-buy's and they say they don't have it. Does it even exist?

The official release date is Tomorrow, so they might not be on shelves until then.

That they are. Although I have yet to follow through on my end, I contacted them about the Harold & Kumar double feature DVD set that the DVD of the first film was wrong (It was stated it was supposed to be the 2008 disc but they included the 2005 DVD instead) they said ship it to us and we'll replace it for free. I may hate their lack of extras on the current DVD's, poor menus, lack of disc art and all around lack of imagination, they do have terrific customer service.

Just a note to anyone looking for the Batman set on Best Buy's site, remember to type in "batman blu" when you use their search as when you type in just "batman" it takes you to a page promoting the Christopher Nolan films.
