Batman the Animated Series

I fear that this is an example of what a poster on the first page described; basically there wouldn't be much of an HD upgrade.

With the huge popularity of the show and comic book movie mania sweeping the world, it would be an enormous money maker. The fact that it hasn't been released, outside of certain episodes on DCU animated movies (in SD), leads me to believe it will never happen

We are glad that most of the Nicktoons are now completely on DVD!
(But it's disappointing that "The Ren & Stimpy Show", "Rocko's Modern Life"
& the "Spongebob Squarepants" episode "Just One Bite"
are NOT uncut on DVD.)
But although the 2 seasons of "The Legend of Korra"
are already on Blu-Ray,
We really want any Nicktoons to also
be on Blu-Ray (uncut & uncensored too!)!

Don't forget the "Spongebob Squarepants" episode "Procrastination",
this episode needs to be uncut on Blu-Ray too!

Batman Beyond would be lovely, so would Generator Rex, The Ben 10 Franchise, Danny Phantom and The Regular Show.

I dunno whether any of these are available region free or region a but you can't get them in the UK.

I'm still hoping for the original Clone Wars (Star Wars) series by Genndy Tartakovsky that ran on the Cartoon Network from 2003 - 2005 to finally make it to Blu-ray. It's very unlike Lucasfilm (now Disney) to not capitalize on re-releasing something on a new medium, so I can only theorize that they don't want the old CW series stepping on the toes of the much greater hyped and more official new version. Sad, since I think Tartakovsky's (brief) series was better...

The Rugrats is on Amazon Instant in HD could use a quick clean up and anti shaking fix and could be ready for BluRay and any behind the scenes would be a plus

I agree 100% hands-down that this early 200X's CW cartoon is superior to the newer (2008-on) TCW cartoon; the 2003-2005 older cartoon had much better animation & was more old-skool, i.e. it appeared they used cels here, rather than the terrible CGI in the newer series.

Re: potential Blu's of this Tartakovsky CW series, I watched both DVD's on my HD set a while back, and they were stunning. Granted, Blu's would probably look better, but I'm more than satisfied with the DVD's...
