My major beef with Outlast was how damn hard it was to see; that, and the battery lasting 3 minutes or less was just lame; imo

This game is similar in set up - you are dropped in an old hospital for reasons not made clear, and are looking for clues...

What I like: mystery of story, and while similar to outlast in set up and look, you can see where you are going all the time. No lame battery fetching required.

I swear the low scores are revenge on Jessica Chobot for writing it.

I liked outlast thought it was good you couldn't always see kept the intensity up looking forward to trying this tonight too though. The reviews are making me a bit skittish.

I mainly got it on PC because it's one of the first Unreal Engine 4 games to come out. I wanted to see it in action, but I actually had to run the game at low to get a playable framerate, despite that I have a decent gaming PC.

I actually had a difficult time playing it because of the low field of view in the game that I couldn't adjust (although I bet there is a fix by now). I had to sit 10 feet away from my 56 inch TV just to not get a headache.

I might try again later if they have a fix on the FOV.

I just bought it today and played for 15 minutes. So far it's decent, but getting lost is kind of annoying.

Outlast is a lot better right now, but still I shall play on.

If anyone is interested, I've uploaded my first 15 minutes on Youtube.

I just got started on it but the graphics weren't as good as I expected. I'm hoping I'll forget about that as I progress in the game.

The game isn't gonna win any 'pretty' awards, but I do love the Rune effects - they glow nicely

And I understand many love Outlast...game was decent, but it just wasn't my thing - this one is decent. Its a nice, quick 3 or 4 hour game. I am about 3 in and halfway, but I am a SLOW gamer

Well, it's a game where you can get lost easily. As you can tell from my video I kept getting lost.

I thought the first level was probably the most confusing, in terms of layout; my 2nd playthrough was even more confusing on hard mode....

I enjoyed the game. Not sure if it'll have much replay value - sure the level does change in layout, but the story is a little too minimal for my tastes...liked the ending though!!!

I was looking forward to this then the reviews came in. I don't hold them in stone and average reviews can be a really enjoyable game for some but when they say something is really crap then it isn't going to be up to much.
