Bit of a bummer but got a couple of new releases arriving anyway (Pacific Rim and 8 1/2) to tide me over 'til Tuesday!

It's not been dispatched yet. We all got an email saying stock is expected to arrive on Monday, so hopefully we'll get it before the end of the week.

Any of you with the UK disc experiencing audio dropouts similar to those that have been reported with the US version?

Would prefer to get the US version but if the UK disc seems error free then I'll get that tomorrow.

Looking to get the 3D disc.

It will most likely be the same. It seems quite common with Disney Blu-Rays for some reason.

If you have the problem you can switch the HDMI audio output from Bitstream to PCM.

The problem is that switching to PCM hasn't solved it for everyone (it was the same for 'Brave' and 'Finding Nemo' last year) some have even had to resort to using the 2.0 option via the disc menu. Another solution is to use co-ax or optical out - of course these don't support TrueHD or DTS master etc., so limited to plain old fashioned DD5.1.

I watched it in 3D today and had no problems what so ever with the 7.1 TrueHD soundtrack.

Saw plenty of copies on the shelf at work today. The bonus disc is Blu-ray and it does not have a slipcover, just alternative sleeve artwork.

Decided I'm not bothered about slips, but bonus discs yes! Just got Pacific Rim in the post, glad it has more extras than most releases do these days!

Mine arrived from Amazon today and I've just finished watching it. I was having audio drop outs and sync issues when I was playing it on my Denon. So I played it on my PS3 and was still getting drop out issues so I switched the audio to PCM out and this seemed to solve it. Mine was the 2d version.
The film was really good. The CGI looked really real, it was almost like it was real life!
