a starting price for this should be around 150-200$ and from that coming down in the way

37,5 per season in complete set is too much, even if it is a gift set....

I like both. I can't find the limited edition for pre-order.

Think ill stick with individuals for space reasons but for those who get either, I'm jealous.

greeat packaging and i've seen every episode, but i learned the hard way about buying television series on bluray/dvd. unlike movies, noone really rewatches whole series again. i haven't rewatched any of the OZ dvd sets i purchased over 10 years ago up to the last one. they just sit on the shelf. the extra's are cool, but u never watch them again after seeing them once. maybe i'm just speaking for myself, but i don't buy television series anymore.

The only shows I've watched through more than once are breaking bad, game of thrones, seinfeld and friends.

I saw this coming 3 months before they announced the complete edition set.

So with seasons one thru five I resold them as a bundle deal and got $48 dollars for it. Not much but not not all bad either. Just got a new job and with the pay from this job I have no problem shelling out 329 for the bloodslide set.

I sold my copies of the first six seasons a few months ago in anticipation of a complete series set. The blood slide set will be mine.

Lots of people rewatch entire series again. I know I do. I cycle through several every few years. Like a good movie, a good series is just as good the second, third, and fourth times through. So, while I'm sure there are others out there who feel the same way you do, there are plenty of people who would strongly disagree.

I rewatch shows all the time. I have become a bit more selective about what shows I buy, though. Some I used to watch so many times that I grew a bit tired of them, so I just try not to watch my favorites too much. Dexter is one I've watched a few times already and I still love it. I'll probably pass on the complete series set, though. I already own 1-7 on Blu, so I'm not going to re-buy them all again just for season 8 & the bonus disc.

Can anyone check their copies if the French subtitles are included.

Thanks.

My wife needs at least French subtitles to watch it.

So "Weeds" included UV redemption for the entire series in its collection.

"Breaking Bad" will also be including UV redemption in its bluray collection next week (yes I know it's an AMC show as opposed to Showtime.)

It sucks that the "Dexter" bluray collections did not include UV redemption.

I feel like it should be automatically included within all complete series collections. Just sayin' lol.

It's all about what the studios choose to do. To date, I don't believe Paramount has released a TV series on Blu-ray with any sort of digital copy for the set.

Maybe not a full season UV, but the season 7 bluray of "Dexter" did include UV redemption for the pilot of "Ray Donovan." Which really was a strange extra/promotion to include but it shows that Paramount isn't beyond the scope of UV redemption for their TV programming. Oh well though, would have been nice is all I'm saying :-l

Is the complete set worth getting just for the special features or do they not add up to much reviewable content?

The special features are nice to have, but they're not essential. I think the biggest letdown (for me, anyways) is that there are absolutely no features about the show ending for the final season. A cast retrospective would have been nice.

If the final season was at least decent I'm sure they would have done something, pretty sure the actors realized how horrible the season and finale was.

the blood slides look plastic to me and if it is, I'm going to pass

the only thing that should be plastic is the center ring and only if glass doesn't work
