Most likely.

I want to know if anyone prefers the English dub over the Japanese. I personally think the English voice acting is well done

IMO there are a few anime out there that need to be watched with the English dub and this is one of them.

I hate dubs with an almost religious fervor, but this is an exceptional one.

The UK Blu-Ray is spectacular visually (most of the time) and the 5.1 HD audio is excellent too...English dubs don't get any better than Bebop as well....

Can't wait for the UK part II release and may pick up the US release if there is anything special about it... but this is Funimation we are talking about, not Bandai....so I don't expect much more than a bare bones release of lesser quality than the UK one (which is closer to NISA and Bandai releases)...

This is one of the few animes where I prefer the dub over the sub. The voice acting is on point.

The voice of Steven Blum (Spike in Dub) is so awesome that I try to point him out in other anime.

Default Will this be region 2 also?

I am about to get the Uk ones... But they are over priced and also are in 2 halves. Will the funimation version be able to be played in the UK?

Hard to know at this stage about region details. It's likely to set you back more than the 2 UK sets though. I'd imagine it'll be released as a part 1: Limited Edition Artbox which will be £40 - 50 after shipping/import fees. They will also release part 2 to fit inside the box, that will probably cost you £30 - 40 all in.

So it's £50 for the entire UK set or at best £80 for the US release which isn't even going to available for half a year. That being said, it may be worth waiting for as the Anime LTD UK sets having encoding errors and packaging anomalies.

Whats wrong with the UK version? Is there apart from the price, the fact that its in 2 parts and that the box doesnt contain much more than the discs...? Is there really problems with the discs?
