Good choices. Welcome to the forums.

In addition to Rat/Cars I'll also be getting the Pixar shorts and Beowulf assuming that I can find it locally. Yesterday I also bought Swordfish, Last Samurai, and Unforgiven at Best Buy. Those were on my pick-up eventually list and they are on sale this week for $17.99, so I went ahead and got them. The fact that all 3 are Warner titles should help out as well

I have a feeling I am going to get a delayed notice from Amazon for Pixar Shorts. Or it won't ship out tonight. DAMN YOU AMAZON!

I never saw Cars and I liked Ratatouille, but not enough to buy it. The only thing I'm buying tomorrow is Chuck and Larry on Combo Format.

Yeah, same here. Very weird. I got Ratatouille, Cars, and Oldboy, each shipped separately, yet all from the same warehouse, but nothign yet on Pixar Shorts.

Canceled my Pixar Shorts order with Amazon. It did not go out nor has it even sipped. It is 1:00 AM EST so there is no way it's getting here.

I will see if it's in store tomorrow.

I'll be getting Raatatouille on Blu for sure. Along with Seinfeld season 9. I might even go for Cars and the Pixar shorts as well.

I keep reading everyone talking about Old Boy. I'll be honest, I never even heard of it. What kind of movie is it? When did it come out? I may go do a imdb search on it...

edit: I just read about it, sounds pretty interesting...

Look on you tube. There is a trailer of it. I remember it after seeing that. Something about a guy locked away for 15 years and then he gets out and has like 5 days to find out why.

Looked weird. It's asian.

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..."

So BB in my area didn't have Oldboy yet, they said in a few days as it wasn't a "popular" release. So I picked up Ratatuoillie for our kids as requested. I think I enjoyed it more than my wife and our kids! At first I was checking out the PQ and SQ as I'm a new Blu-ray person, but soon forgot about that and was captivated by this movie. Cars I didn't care for (the kids loved it though), and this Ratatuoillie fell off my radar because I thought it was perhaps more of the same... but I was wrong. It's nice to see the magic Pixar used to bring us back again. And in high definition... life is good

You have to expand your horizons. Chan-wook movies are great, as are so many other Tartan releases (including other Korean film makers). When Tartan decided to go Blu-ray exclusive, I started to take notice.

There's more to film than Spiderman 3 and Transformers, and I'm glad that the "more" is finally being released to high definition media, and the fact it was Blu-ray that this kind of flim has been released to helped convert me over.
