how do you guys think the numbering works? is it on a first come first served basis. so if you were the first person to order you would get 0001 or do you think its gonna be completely random?

I think it's gonna be just pure luck. Think they'll just pull out the Steelbooks ready for shipping when cards start to get charged, it'll be too time consuming to assign them based on when you pre-ordered them. That's only my opinion though I could be proved wrong. If by any luck I ended up getting no.0001 I hope my fellow group buyers won't hold it against me if I kept that one as mine!

I would think that 0001 will be going to a friend or business acquaintance. Also if there was a number in the title or movie(Sixth Sense) that number would be more collectible. I imagine that the person that gets #0666/4000 will be happy with that one. Those that get their birth year will be happy.
Typically the first few are given away. Not sure if that will be the case here.(see what I did there) The rest are probably random.

Just like the BR LE it will be completely random as to what number you get. You could have been the very first to order and get the very last number.

£26.99 seems to be their standard price for exclusive 3D steelbooks as GI Joe was that price. I guess they priced Star Trek lower as there was partial competition of their 3D steelbook against the Amazon 2D which was much cheaper and would attract some sales. Both sold out though.

However I do see they are struggling to sell GI Joe as they still have that listed.
