Was it Candice? I emailed her on Saturday, I got her email from the other fugitive thread, but she hasn't emailed back.

^ That was my point: the product described on the slipcover and on the case insert is not what is in the case. How much more of a blatant error can it be? A Mickey Mouse BD inside? I'd rather have that... Or do some of the 90th editions have the correct disc? Can't know that unless WB says for sure, they must know...which doesn't say much for their behavior to this point if they know they're all "defective". They ain't no Disney.
Clearly WB is hoping to get rid of this release in stores, because it will cost them money to have to replace them and surely they would prefer not to. i.e. the cost of replacement for the portion of purchasers who call in vs "scrapping" the whole lot. I was bringing it up since I am speculating the 90th version is preventing the stores from stocking the true remastered version, since they look like the same thing and if the cases held what's advertised, the 90th would seem more attractive to consumers/retailers. More attractive to retailers as part of a display, rather than just as a stand-alone catalog re-issue. More attractive to consumers as a better deal. All that said, a tangential Q: has even one reviewer for a major site seen the VC1 version of The Fugitive? One guy seems to deny it exists. It is hugely better than the original release PQ-wise. I think they fixed an error too. Of course the 20th version looks so great to them because they're all comparing to the original MP2 disaster. And sure the DTS-HD MA audio on the 20th should be better. I'm not downplaying the 20th release (because I haven't seen it), just saying it's likely a much smaller upgrade to VC1 owners. ![]() Still haven't read of anyone (in the forums) getting a replacement BD. Every B&M I've been to still has the "90th mistake" on display, the only diff is all that series is $10 pretty much everywhere now, not just WM. |

It's been almost four weeks since I heard from Candice at WB, so i went o email her back and noticed in her email that she is on Maternity leave starting Oct 31. Luckily she cc'd someone else at WB so I've replied asking for an update.
I'll post their response when I get it. |

I got the wrong Fugitive disc in the combo pack at Walmart. I was also missing the X-RAY VISION Feature from my Target Canada version of Man of Steel digibook.
I contacted Target Canada and they gave me a Warner phone number which turned out to be in the US. I ended up e-mailing the lady and she said she will forward it to the Canadian office to deal with both issues. If I do not hear from them by the end of today, I am to contact her again. I have not heard anything from Warner Canada yet today......and don't expect to either. If this is what happens, I will let the US lady know and see what she does. It seems like Warner is ok with putting anything in the box........and too bad for you if you don't like it (because they know about all of this.......and ARE NOT pulling the disc's). |

I got it yesterday......no I did not have to mail it back. The disc I got was the correct one.....but I suspect it is one that did not meet standards on the production line. When I looked at the play surface.......it is pitted and pock marked like the moon........not to impressed.
It came in a cardboard sleeve. I am still waiting to get a corrected Man of Steel extras disc. |
