Sweet! I don't have Plus on my Japanese PSN account, so I never got to try it when it released. I miss the days (like about 2 years ago) when games actually had demos, so I could try them instead of just watching other people stream them. (I know a few games still have demos, Far Cry 4, for example, but compared to the recent past it's become rather barren)

That Far Cry 4 'demo' isn't exactly a demo though. You need someone on your friends list to give you a key in order to play the game. One of my most wanted features on the PS4 was that try every game thing before you buy that Sony talked about.

Sucks that it seems this is a PS+ demo. Gonna just have to wait until Christmas to play this game it seems.

Oh, I bought Far Cry so I didn't bother looking at the demo. I guess that makes my point even more relevant, then, aside from sports and Lego games, we hardly ever seem to get demos anymore.

From what I saw of the Japanese demo, though, it was only two fighters, so I don't think you'll be missing out on much, if that helps at all.

That sucks, but it sounds like the Standard Edition is still coming out on the 16th, and after playing the demo, I'm definitely looking forward to picking it up.

Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- Limited Edition Now Slated for December 23

The company delayed the game after key components in the limited edition were held up due to strikes at Port of Los Angeles and Port of Long Beach.

The limited edition will include a special box that features a replica of "The Backyard," the Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- Vocal Collection CD, the Guilty Gear Codex art book, and a Sol Badguy "FREE" keychain. A custom controller will also come with the Playstation 4 Limited Edition.

The standard edition will still ship on December 16.

Wow 6 days early seems pretty early for a game. Usually it's just a day or 2.

I do remember when I got my Pokemon Silver game like a week early due to a wal-mart screw up.

Definitely not the gamestop closest to me, they didn't even know there was a standard edition and wouldn't let me pre-order it...

The clerk was nice, it seems like it was the store's inventory that had the problem.

Ended up downloading the game, and it's a blast. The shame, though, is that I haven't played a Guilty Gear in a long, long time and I succkkkk at it. Still, it's fun to just randomly bash buttons at the moment and look at the pretty, pretty graphics. They can be a bit jagged at times, the character models are surprisingly blocky, but everything is so vibrant and well-drawn that it's all kind of gorgeous.

The digital version of the game is $24 during this weekend's flash sale. Although I'm a bit stunned by the price dropping so dramatically in less than 2 freaking months, I highly recommend fighting fans pick it up. (PS3 version is $20, for anyone interested in that one as well).

Check it out, one of the best flash sales I've seen in a while, especially for ps4 games.
