Man, I want both The Buddy Holly Story and La Bamba but they are quite expensive.

I will still pre-order La Bamba as its one of my favorite movies, hopefully the pre-order will be up soon.

does screenarchives.com charge you right away?
or do they not charge until your order is shipped?

If you pay by PayPal you're charged right away. If you pay be credit card you're charged at the time of shipment although there may be an initial temp charge at the time the order is placed.

It won't be FN all over, and FN took weeks to sell out anyway (Night of the Living Dead and Christine on the other hand...). I've seen listings like this for almost every TT title. They probably order how many copies ebayers order/buy from them, so the smarter people are, the less scalps there are too!

I wouldn't wait around too long as more people know about TT the quicker things have been selling, but except for horror/cult, nothing sells out within the first few months. Hell, Mindwarp is sci-fi cult and might never sell out!

What exactly is an "OOP item"? This will be my first time buying a limited edition through SAE and I don't quite know all the lingo if you know what I mean.

It means out-of-print. However the e-Bay seller is lying about it being OOP since it hasn't even been released yet.

That ebay seller would be Jordan Stein (who Bill from Code Red often refers to as a "horder"), He has a lot of items that are still available at actual retail price and even some with no firm release dates! This is why people need to research carefully (a simple google search and membership to this board are invaluable) before buying something that people claim is "OOP" on ebay.

Funds are non-existent for me at the moment. I have to cross my fingers and keep an eye out on their notifications to make sure I can get my La Bamba (and pretty much everything else that just went on pre-order today)
