This is a very good news for both films and Ginger Snaps is from my country, i loved this film ! Too bad the sequels aren't as good as this one !

I agree, I thought The Burning cover was the best but this topped it in my opinion.

Correct, I remember transferring some of the rushes, & a lot of the werewolf stuff didn't look so hot, bright & colourful, but graded dark & cool & with good editing the film turned out very good. But it's never going to look that great.

I had no idea the Onion Knight from Game of Thrones was in this, but I recognised him right off the art! I'd probably have noticed sooner, except I've only watched Dog Soldiers once - not really a fan...

I don't like the film. I will be buying the blu-ray anyway, maybe it'll grow on me.

The art is not the best of the CE's, imo. But its very nice.

New cover art and extras won't mean anything without a new transfer to go along with it. The fact that Scream has kept mum, even when directly asked on Facebook, has me leaning towards them re-using the pre-existing one. As they noted in reference to The Shadow, when they have a new transfer, they mention it.

Wow, no new transfer would mean another miss for Shout Factory. They've been piling up more misses than hits lately...

Obviously my assumption could turn out to be incorrect, but, again, you'd think a new transfer of a film whose previous transfer is generally considered one of the worst of the BD format would be boasted about early and often. I wouldn't state it as concrete until the extras/specs are officially announced though.
