I'm currently watching Brave & The Bold. May get Beware The Batman next. Like others, hoping we get more DC Animated shows. I really want Justice League Unlimited! I liked it better than Justice League but both were great.

Is Amazon actually shipping this out, or are shipping notices an error?

As I had a shipping email from Amazon, followed by a undeliverable shipment email a few hours later, and the item never reached the shipper (DHL). Amazon is still listing the item as 'Temporarily out of stock.', so I'm wondering if they really have any stock yet.

Got mine in! Can't wait to check it out. I am disappointed that it's in stereo though.

EDIT: Can't really report on the PQ with the 29" LED that I'm on right now, but it does look really nice. I also don't have surround sound where I am but my BD player is reporting 2 channel DTS-HD Master Audio.

I really hate it when they split seasons into parts. They did this with X-Men Evolution.

Only 11 eps have aired, and only 13 eps have been produced so it's not like they're intentionally holding back any more episodes here. They're just releasing what's available, instead of waiting at least another year for a possible complete set. The show's future is up in the air right now anyway so who knows if we'll even see any more at all. It's rumored to be back this month, but it isn't on CN's schedule.

Blind bought this. Arrived from Amazon today. Just finished watching the first four eps. I could feel my old school self struggle a bit with the new take on Batman and Alfred. But the quick pacing of the episodes and sequential nature of the stories helped a lot towards just getting into the fun of them. Being a Batman fan for four decades, this will never by "my" Batman. But so far, I'm entertained and definitely into it. Looking forward to finishing the rest on the disc soon.

The animation is a little quirky... and too many characters (especially female) seem to have the same faces... but the story is pretty solid throughout.

I didn't mind the addition of Katana in place of Robin on the show. I think many saw the CGI animation and didn't give it much of a chance. If you can make it past the first couple of episodes where everything feels weird, it's a solid show intended more for adults than children.

Is Katana the female Robin? Or is female Robin also called Robin?

Robin doesn't exist on this show. Katana was a secondary DC character meant to be Batman's eventual sidekick on Beware the Batman.

Is anyone else disappointed with the lack of 5.1 audio on this? I think the DVD got 5.1, hopefully the GLTAS BD release will have 5.1!

According to the DVD review published by DVDDizzy, the DVD set comes with Dolby Digital 2.0 audio, which is contrary to the packaging which advertises a Dolby 5.1 track. I think most of the DC TV series are produced in stereo.
