Excellent news, I'll probably order these as soon as I read some specs. Now, it's really exciting to see this wave of Godzilla films on Blu-ray coming, but Classic Media are quite conspicuous in their absence. That's a real shame, since they own some of the real classics of the series. I think we should email homeentertainment@classicmedia.tv and politely explain the situation and express that we would buy Blu-ray reissues.

Any word on whether they'll release Godzilla 1985?
I still remember seeing it when I was a kid, sitting in the front row of the theater.

It may possibly come from Echo Bridge last I heard. I'd be fine with that since they did a decent job with Godzilla vs Biollante.

Whatever you do, DON'T buy from Monster Island Toys, a.k.a. Toys R Toys, a.k.a. steroid king Loris Basso. They're all fakes/bootlegs.

It was around the time that Biollante was coming out. Someone from the company said they were looking into it or something along those lines. Sorry but I've long since lost the link.

I don't mind the double features, especially since they did the same thing with a couple of the DVD releases.

My only concern is, will all of the titles have the original Japanese audio?

I don't mind it except for the one that's out of sequential order in the franchise (Destroyah and Megaguirus).

I think Godzilla 1985 is the only G-flick I have not seen yet. While the Blu release would be a blind buy for me ,I'm sure it would be worth it.

Apparently, the English language version with Raymond Burr, supervised by Roger Corman, is terrible.

I would settle for the original Japanese version then. Wasn't that called Godzilla 1984 I think?

Ah wait,I see it was still 1985 but released in 1984.

Same here. I really want Final Wars on Blu but only if it is in Japanese with subtitles.

I caught some of the dubbed version on Sony Movie Channel and it is terrible.
