So is this release also going to include a slipcover? Either lenticular or 2D? Just curiosity, love the design by the way!

It pretty much just looks like they just switched the UK artwork and put a flag in the backdrop. Not bad but not going to make me run out and get one.

So, it's basically the HMV version, but with the front and back artwork swapped over?

I've been giving Blufans too much credit lately.

Pass.

Damn that's beautiful.

I always hated the shield being on the front of the HMV steel and feel the back is the perfect place for it. Damn, that is so perfect it's ridiculous really.

Now if Marvel can get their heads out of their asses with Thor and approve some of Blufans artwork so that one can get going too.

I don't mind it and think it would go with the other Marvel steels better, but at the same time this is not making me double dip or sell my HMV one to get this one.

Well, if you guys have been reading the Thor thread lately you'd know that their hands are basically tied as far as attempting to do anything new or innovative when it comes to Marvel. They probably had multiple art versions created and had all of them shot down just like the Thor art. If you're disappointed in the artwork/design of the steel, it's definitely more on Marvel than Blufans. I'm sure they did everything they could to produce a unique and original steelbook.

Oh, I have read that and understand. My point personally is that I am not going to spend another $75ish dollars for a steelbook that essentially has the same artwork as the one I have now (not really a GLOSSY type of guy ).

This will be nice for people who did not get the UK version or people who like to collect asian steels, but I have an HMV one and am not too keen on the prices of asian steels so this steel does nothing for me.

No matter where is comes from, you can never get any better than the first edition.

Oh I won't hate you, that's ridiculous. But you are completely wrong.

Seriously though, I think they're both awesome and if I had the HMV one already I would probably sell it off to get this one because I prefer it and because I could get a decent amount for the HMV steel right now, but it would be a tough decision.

Once we see this with it's 3D and/or 2D slips I have a feeling a lot of people's opinions will change again, one way or the other.
