How do you know that Kino Lorber will release this film?

I know from Michael Dudikoff´s facebook account that he is currently taping an audio commentary together with director Sam Firstenberg but in the past several Cannon movies were released by Fox.

I sort of found this movie on accident about 5 years ago and absolutely fell in love with the movie...definitely picking this up day one. I can't speak for the German Blu - Ray but I have seen this on Cable in HD and the print used was really worn out and scratchy, it's possible that the materials available aren't very good.

So has anyone seen any other pre-orders for this outside of Amazon. Like Blowitoutofhere has all the other Aug. 12th titles up but I don't see this one

EDIT NEVERMIND found it...for some reason I had to leave off the mr (maybe it didn't like the . in Mr.)

Diabolik DVD has both this and Breakheart Pass in stock for $20 and some change. I could've saved a buck or 2 by purchasing from blowitoutahere but the street dates are 2 weeks away. Diabolik will ship my copy today and I'll be enjoying these by Tuesday

Absolutely. I'm not a professional reviewer or anything but I will share my thoughts and first impressions. I actually don't have high hopes for great PQ for many of these MGM titles. Kino is working with what MGM has available and I just don't feel too good about some of these films having good source materials. Fingers crossed.

Kino is rather cheap and refuses to do any cleanup on the titles, either. That's one of the main things with their releases.

$30 title with no cleanup. That's awesome. Might as well be a damn TT release. What about Mongrel Media? They're apparently doing the Canadian release, and it's cheaper.

Majestyk is on mgmhd pretty often, that source looks good, like it wouldn't really need additional work.
