It's pretty cool artwork. FOX are obviously going for different styles for their latest steelbooks (Wolverine 3D was a funky artwork too).

I've placed my deposit today at HMV. The guy confirmed it is a 3D steelbook (showed on the PC too as 3D).

Well all I can say is WOW! This film is fantastic really well put together. I won't give anything away but for me the last 5 minutes brought back so many memories. The effects are amazing, the 3D really grabs you in certain scenes and works very well. Both casts work well together and there are some very nice cast surprises. Don't leave the cinema too soon as there's the usual Marvel after end credit scene. Roll on the HMV steelbook I hope there's some nice Sentinel embossing and roll on Apocalypse in 2016.

Sweet. Managed to get my eldest to baby sit (one great thing about having a big gab between kids is that the 20 year old can baby site the 6 & 2 year olds, LOL). Going on Tuesday to the 3D showing so good to see there's some good 3D scenes.

I recently managed to pick up an Adi Granov Sentinel sketch from his February Facebook Sketch a Day comp. Will look sweet next to this steelbook!

If it's 15.99 like enders game then I'll be picking up a couple. If it's like wolverine and 21.99 might not get it at all. Got stung on that one.

I've got fare amount of black steels I gonna have to check them all now.

It's been stated over at HDN from a source at HMV the listed price is £21.99 but this could change nearer release.

Knowing hmv it will be 21.99 on day of release and about 3 maybe 4 weeks like wolverine. Then drop to 15.99

Wow did Wolverine SB drop to that!! Glad I made mine cost around £8 by selling through eBay.

It dropped a fair bit about 2 weeks after i bought it. I'm sure it was 15.99 at one point. Was gutted

Not to be a dick, but this is kinda what we were talking about in the Lone Survivor thread...

Here is an HMV exclusive that no one over here would have access to unless a helpful member sets up a GB, which cudz has done, and he gets flack about what price might be charged.

We've discussed the charges on his Zavvi packages before and he's put out the charges line by line. This is probably why no one has stepped up and done any Canadian GBs. Just sayin'

Saw the film yesterday. Brilliant. Best X-Man movie to date. Fixes the f#*k up that was Last Stand & unless I'm mistaken, opens the closet, puts Wolverine: Origins in there & shuts the door. As for the artwork...I like it.

Pre ordered my copy yesterday, £3 deposit an alleged 1st Jan release date but I'd expect it to be more like October.

The normal 3D slipcover is £19.99 at play.com fox direct and £19.39 using TCB . That looks the cheapest for the 3D at the moment for people who can't get to a HMV like me. That steelbook is just doing nothing for me i think it's a terrible cover i much prefer the slipcover.

Any chance of another release of First Class, I wonder? A different design to the first steel, obviously, maybe even something based on the movie poster.
