that is a great quote . and its true.

My quote is "Tell me of a good short movie and i will tell you a similar one that is longer and much better"
As far as insufferable quotes go, that one's certainly up there.

Mmmhmm.

I've always shared the same philosophy. Length shouldn't really be a concern. If it feels long, regardless of whether or not it's a plot driven film or character study, then it's not really doing a good job of holding your interest. That said, I did watch North By Northwest earlier which I really enjoyed, but I did feel the running time for it. I suspect it's because I am tired as I got very little sleep last night.

By the way Doctor Jack wheres your avatar from? Every time I see it I always think you are about to have a meltdown or something

Do you also think that just because an album is a concept album, it automatically makes it good?

Thats how I feel now. Of course, comedy and such are exceptions, but blockbuster/popcorn flicks... I expect them to be atleast 2 hours.

Anyone feels the same way or am I just retarded?
No, sometimes I feel tortured.

Something like Wolf of Wall Street feels like a breezy 2hr film even though it's 3.

Something like Man of Steel feels like a torturous 4 hours even though it's a 2hr 20mins film.

I love it! You never stop with these hilarious and awesome and arguably true comments!

That being said, I'll name Before Sunset as someone mentioned it above, it clocks in at 80 minutes! Name a similar movie that is longer and much better!

The length of a movie isn't important.

What matters is whether they're good or not.

Some of the best movies ever made are under 2 hours in length imo.

That's an odd analogy to make, and I certainly can't speak for the great chris, but I will take this time to note that Brotha Lynch Hung's trilogy of concept albums are the very best ones out there for those looking for cannibal-themed horrorcore rap.

Also, I must say I love times like this when everyone posts a lot quickly and this topic feels like an IM chat room.

It was kind of a reach lol. It's just, chris has this mindset where if a movie is long it's automatically good it seems. There is a similar mindset in music I have noticed lately (specifically hip-hop), if it's a concept album, people automatically think it's good.

Also, for Brotha Lynch Hung.

There are much funnier trolls on this forum than Chris. And by "much funnier" I mean "funny at all and aren't tied down to 1 gimmick".

Fair enough. I get what you're saying. And I'm glad that there's other BLH fans here

Fair enough, but I have to go ahead with an "Unpopular Blu-Ray.com Opinion" that chris_sc77 iss the funniest troll on the site, if he is in fact not serious. It may be a gimmick, but I do love it.
