The blurb on TVshowsonDVD's site says both Blu an DVD sets will include ultraviolet.

I wish I had seen this thread sooner. I subscribed to the threads for the first two seasons and thought a link would be posted in one of those when a new thread went up for season 3. I'm disappointed that I missed the $27.99 price, but I went ahead and pre-ordered from Amazon anyway to avoid anymore price hikes and before I miss anymore price drops. The pre-order price guarantee assures me of the lowest Amazon price between now and the release date and I have faith that whatever price I end up paying won't be beaten significantly by anybody else.

It's down to $24.99 right now at Amazon. Sure am glad I pre-ordered it a while ago, as the price may not last long.

I just preordered. Man, September is going to be one freakin' expensive month. Anyway, it doesn't say anything about the episodes being uncut. I hope Lions Gate isn't getting lazy on us the same way Mill Creek did with Highway to Heaven. Does anyone know if the episodes are, in fact, uncut? Either way, if the video looks anywhere near as good as it does on seasons one and two, it is still worth the price.

I'm sure it's just an oversight on the press materials. I can't imagine season 1 and 2 are uncut and then suddenly season 3 would be edited for some reason. That wouldn't make any sense and they must know how much harm that would cause on the sales if that happened.

That's exactly what is it. They also indicate that there are no subtitles. They did the same thing with the the first two season announcements. I can almost guarantee that there will be subtitles, just like there are with the first two seasons.

I've fallen behind on my viewing of this. Its not that I lost interest, just that there's so much stuff to check out. I'm still just past the halfway point of the 1st season.

I'm on my 2nd to last disc on season 2 and then I'm ready for season 3! I just watched an episode last night actually.

$24.99 is an excellent price for a quality release of a quality show like this. The SRP was $34.99.

It was $24.99 last night, then $22.XX this morning and an hour later it was $19.99.

But pre-orders are most of the times cheaper on DVDPacific. LHOP3 is $17.03 right now.

Nice to see it drop to $20. I already had it pre-ordered but this will be help sales, which will help guarantee future seasons. I'm on my last disc of season 2 so the timing will work out nicely for me.

It seems weird that Lionsgate isn't publicizing this release like they did the first two seasons. As far as I can see there hasn't been a press release for season 3 and there is no mention of season 3 on the Little House Facebook page. Perhaps they are trying to focus on selling more copies of season 1 and 2 and aren't going to publicize season 3 until the release date is closer. For the lack of publicity, it seems like the Amazon Best Sellers Rank of #1,057 in Movies & TV and #17 in Movies & TV > Blu-ray > Kids & Family is pretty good with the release still being a month away.

Season 3 has my favorite episode - Little Girl Lost. So if they cancel after the release of the Third Season I'm okay.

Actually I hope they release them all. And at $20 or less a season, I can live with that.
