Just look at assassins creed black flag compared to unity. The difference is night and day. Black flag looked good on PS4 but unity looks like a next gen game in my opinion.

Couldn't agree more. Black Flag looked amazing on PS4 but compared to unity it's like a night and day difference. It's easy to tell which games are for PS4/X1 only and which ones are getting hindered by last gen ports.

Personally I'm not worried. I think this will be a PS4/X1 only game.

If it is true hopefully another studio is doing the PS3/360 versions.

With how amazing TR looked I can only imagine what it would look like if it was built from the ground up for PS4/X1.

I hope so. I don't want it being held back by old technology.

Games coming out in 2015 and beyond should be aimed solely at current generation.

Tomb Raider looked great on PS4, but imagine how much better it could have been if built for PS4.

Its not only because its only next gen, its also because its their second game on next gen...

I'm, just about half way through the first game now on PS3 and I love it, despite getting Lara killed a lot by me making dumb moves or jumps.

But for me it's the Next Gen exclusives that will drive me to get a PS4, and I've yet to upgrade. Sure multi generation support is great for me, but a new Tomb Raider will look best on next gen.

But by 2015 (well September of this year) I'll have my PS4 console.

I don't fully agree with that. Think about for example the crowds in Unity and the fact that you can go in 1 of every 4 buildings. They can't simply remove that from a PS3 version and consider it an equal game. Maybe the crowds could be toned down. But that opening shot of the single player gameplay trailer when Arno is on top of the building looking down on that huge crowd, that's what makes it look so much more lifelike in my opinion. I am sure the fact that they had an extra year to fine tune the graphics help on Unity, however I think if Black Flag was released now it could only look so much better. Even games like the Last of Us, there isn't as a big a graphical leap on PS4, as say Uncharted 4.

Lmfao, that's one thing I really disliked about the new game. It's gritty take really makes me wonder why she'd ever want to raid tombs. She belongs in a trauma Ward. And she should be Lara Jelly after the injuries she took.

LOL I kept wondering how she could possibly be alive just wearing tank top and khakis. She should have died from the rebar would in the opening scene. But it was still a fun game.

One thing I noticed about Lara about halfway through, she was becoming less scared and more scary: "Run you bastards, I'm coming for all of you!"

Exactly this. They wanted to make the deer scene and her first human kill seem so emotional and yet by the end of the game you're a walking genocide. That should have never happened in the span of one game. It was too abrupt.

It's just a game, it's not real and it's not mean't to be real. If I want stealth I'll play MGS, if I want all out action I'll play this or Uncharted

That was totally not my point. I'm not saying don't have action. Let's try this again. They took the lazy way out and made you kill everyone like every other game, instead of creating a game where you don't have to kill everyone. It doesn't have to be stealth, but 99% of combat in the game is unavoidable. I would not have had a problem with this if they didn't have the two scenes that stress "the feels" like I already mentioned. It cheapens those scenes and lessens their impact where in the span of a gaming hour you go from sensitive innocent girl that trembles to kill a deer or a person to destroying everything in your path without a second thought like The Destroyer in Thor. It was not gradual. It was abrupt. That is my issue.

It's kill or be killed. I do see your point, but I was happy with the story and its progress. She's very quickly pushed over the edge and is running on adreniline with a few breathers along the way. No wonder she's in therapy in the TR2 preview clip.
